Tried this place for the first time, wasn't disappointed at all. Came within 1/2 hour and the food was great. Definitely order from here again.

Would not order from here again found part of a plastic glove inside onion bhaji rang maaneks back up no apology so reported them to environmental health services just waiting for report off them

Food wasn’t to my taste, unfortunately. The curries needed more flavour. The sauces were leaking and made a mess everywhere!!!!The chips were undercooked. Was expecting much better after reading the reviews. The food was also rather oily. The onion Bhajjis are really nice. The sauce that leaked everywhere tasted like peri peri sauce rather than a normal chilli sauce. Might give them another go and opt to eat in rather than get a takeout

Found it easy to order on line, my food arrived on time and was 😋, I had a onion bhaji starter and madras chicken with boiled rice main mail. Fully recommend.

Just had a spicy chicken vindaloo with garlic keema nan and a maaneks special and tasted on point👍. Absolutely 100% recommend this place, flavours were there and delivery came under an hour everything blew my head away probably the best takeaway in South Shields. If you live anywhere near this place you got to order😍😍😍.

I only get a week's supply of tarka dhal when I go here as I tend to use Rafi's, Spicebox.co.uk mixes and make my own curries but can never get the dhal to taste right. They are always quick, efficient and pleasant. Obviously popular by the way the phone rings. Wish they would change their reading matter though. A week old Metro isn't much good ;-)

Been ordering from here for something like five years now. We can even tell if it is a different chef to normal as each week the food is really consistent. The chicken is always super moist and whenever we stray to another Indian takeaway for the odd week, we always find it hard to find anything more delicious. Only very minor gripe is I wish they did some paneer dishes.
