Man vs Food Grill House in South Tyneside

Having travelled back from being away the same day, we wanted to eat out to save cooking and we settled on Man Vs Food as it was somewhere we had been desperate to visit. The restaurant seemed quite busy, so we were unsure if we'd get a table as there was 5 of us all together, 2 adults, 2 children and a toddler, but after entering they found us one. After ordering we recieved our drinks, milkshakes and a cocktail, they were all really tasty, milkshakes were soo good, 3 of us ordered the kinder white. The strawberry mojito was also really nice and fresh tasting. There was quite a wait for our food, our drinks had gone by the time our food had arrived, however because the restaurant seemed busy, we didn't mind, food arrived hot and the portions sizes were crazy, really glad we didn't order a starter in the end! I ordered the legend chicken burger which was really good, I just couldn't finish it all in the end, the kids meals which we ordered 2 of, one from the premium kids meals were really good size, £3.95 for a meal for our toddler was enough to fill an adult, so completely worth the price. Overall really worth our money and we cant wait to go back to try the rest of the menu

Always welcomed here from staff and understanding workers, amazing food that never fails to taste beautiful, well cooked and carefully prepared meats, very big portions and very filling, worth going here!

First visit here, went with family who live nearby. Service was very good and friendly, the food was excellent. Definitely recommend eating here.

Amazing food, we've been before and knew it was worth it. Staff very attentive but not overly pushy. Huge portions as you'd expect but couldn't stop eating as it was so nice. Myself and my family (Wife, daughters 18 and 14) loved it and will visit again.

Service was brilliant, had meal my mum didn't like. Manager came not just irrectifide but how can the chef make better. I tho that was good management. I had mix grill and struggled to eat while cheese cakes were too chilled. Otherwise I will eat here again. Thank you.

Amazing in South Shields area!!(HALAL) +fresh Food, nice menu for kids, and fabulous atmosphere indoor and outdoor.But- the shortage of parking.-American Burger was good but tasted as “Turkish kofta”.Anyway it was great to be out there 😊

Tuesday 27 July 2021.. after they made the mistake by giving me the wrong steak and when I send the steak back to be cooked as part of it was raw, they still give me back...part cook and well done and part raw, just left it near the cooker and then send it out..which you can see on the first picture and and the second picture the beef is in ash's but the the chef is fine to eat... if I could I would give less than 0 star...what a joke..

Tasty food but a bit pricy for what it is. it's also right on the edge of a boarded up estate with limited parking, wasn't thrilled leaving my car here. The other half did very badly at one of the eating challenges, he did say that meat in the burgers was very dry making it almost impossible to chew and swallow. Staff were chatty and friendly.
