McDonald's in South Tyneside

Recently went here after a visit to the beach. Windows and tablets covered in handprints, place was overcrowded and didn't have enough to accommodate the customers.there seemed to be a hygiene issue at this McDonald's.However the worst was getting a cut down my thumb attempting to put the rubbish away. Not just a small one, blood gushed down my hand and I had to rush elsewhere to treat it. This should have been an easy and painles task but the bin was too full and there were sharp plastic edges inside. Luckily it's slowly healing up, but it still hurts badly.I am glad I was the one who took the blow, as it could have been a child or someone else.

I have just came off a nightshift, and ordered a McDonald's breakfast came to a total of 11.97, my delivery came and I was charged 4 pound for a delivery fee when I live round the corner I could of went to mc Donald's but I've got off a nightshift and I'm really tired, I also had items missing off my order I have waited 30 minutes for my food to come back and I have heard nothing I called mc Donald's and the customer service is absolutely appalling! No apology, just says I will get it out to you as soon as the driver gets back didn't ask me for my address or even my order number, I'm disgusted at how McDonald's has dealt with this as they are such a big company I can't even begin to express how upset I am with them! £8 pound out of pocket.. Worst experience don't order online they obviously don't know what they are doing personally I won't be going back..

Dirty. Teenages using restaurant as a area to hang out. Glad I didnt eat here. Baby changing facilities were scruffy. Really poor environment.

Used the screen to place order and was left to stand at the counter for almost 55 minutes while none of the staff bothered to serve us to pay for our meal. Wasn't the first time this has happened either. Not even that busy to begin withAbsolutely embarrassing

This is the slowest McDonald's I've ever seen. When they're not busy, it's slow, and when they're busy, forget it. We waited 30 minutes today for a Happy Meal. If you watch the staff, you see them put together orders at random. They start with the drinks, so there's a large tray of drinks and ice creams just sitting there waiting to be paired an order. By the time that happens, it will have melted, gone cold, or not be cold. They seem to put pieces of many orders together, so there are half orders sitting around for a long time.Update: my husband ordered delivery. The picks are of the chocolate "milkshake" he received.

Amazing service and good food. But sometimes it lacks the standards of a macd. The fries u get are oily. Burgers have less sauce compared to other places. But other than that,it was good .

Kaos and totally disorganised. We used the table service option when ordering off the screen, then we went to our table and waited nearly 20 minutes to get our order and to add to it our food was lukewarm and just finalised our disappointment. Worst experience I've had in a McDonald's

So slow food service, and always have to heat for around 15 seconds in the microwave after delivery.Advice would be as they fully concentrate on their delivery orders, its quicker to order and have your meal delivered than it is to go in to order (even when very few customers in there) as you will have a long wait.It is only South Shields it seems.The larger one in Northumberland Street Newcastle, way busier with way more deliveries also, you get your meal in no time at all in shop.One more thing, if ordering from Shields make sure you have some straws in the house.The last 2 orders we got with drinks in the delivery they forgot to put the straws in with it.

Worst macdonalds in the UK. Ignorant staff who couldn't care less about the customer ( unless your a delivery driver). Food just thrown into boxes, a big mac looks more like a big mess!! I would give minus 10 stars if I could.

Food was nice but a couple of things I would like to point out, tables where dirty and there was no one asking people on entry to have mask's on or sanitize their hands. I understand people should have common sense and do it themselves but a friendly reminder would be better. Younger people using obscene language should be asked to leave as younger and older people are there for food not swearing.
