Nando's in South Tyneside

Not been many times but the most recent visit was good. Scanning the QR on the table and pre-paying is not something I've ever done but it worked brilliantly with the help of our 12-year-old. Menu choice was quite good and I enjoyed my chicken burger with sides - however, I had to eat it with a knife and fork as the bun, I think it's called a Portuguese roll, was too tough to bite through, infact it was too tough for the knife too so sharper knives needed !. All of us left quite happy and full and are looking forward to returning.

Havent had a bad meal here, but service is poor. Young people on their phones, dont listen, dont work hard (in most cases, not all) and they love to bring starters out at same time as mains.... feels like they are trying to get rid of you

You know exactly what you're getting from Nandos, tasty chicken served quickly. The children's menu, in particular, is very good.

Restaurant was in need of a deep clean, dirty floors, food on the seat, greasy sauce bottles, sticky table, generally really grubby. They missed off hallumi from my order, it was busy so no one checked if everything was alright and by the time I was able to mention it to a waiter my meal was over and kids on to their desert. They offered me the hallumi on a little plate but we were near to leaving, they didn’t offer to refund. I love Nando’s, but not this one at Boldon, I’ll take a pass!!

It has been years since I last went to a Nandos restaurant, I mean 10-12 years! This was because i had a bad experience, I decoded to give it a go again thinking that things must have changed.Nothing has really changed, the ordering concept is still the same, but the food on offer was different to what I remember.I really enjoyed the food I got,

Met my ex-wife here to finalize the details of our divorce. Excellent service, and suitable portion sizes for a boy of my size (6'8 btw).

Came here to have a meal before visiting the cinema next door. Ordered two small meals, watched others turn up after us order and finish their food before ours arrived. Went to enquire to see 30+ plates on the hot plate with chicken on but no sides, total chaos. Staff had no idea if ours were on there or not. Got a refund, in cash even though I’d paid by card, then had entirely unsatisfactory rollover hot dogs in the cinema.

Staff were very friendly and the food was lovely, however they did get the drinks and the sides wrong. Pleasant experience but order accuracy could have been better

Walked in to order a take out, could clearly see it was very busy with all the tables full and deliveries and collections. The staff where OUTSTANDING! All managing to keep a smiley and positive attitude doing their best to accommodate people while being efficient and friendly. I'm so impressed as I know working in service when busy can be abit tough!!! Managed to place an order at the till go put some fuel in my car then come back and collect my food!!! Super impressed and feel people never leave good feedback enough! So here I am leaving feedback on the fantastic service I received!!!!

The staff were genuinely lovely, and more than happy to help or talk. We went here after initially trying Tim Horton's (not a good experience) and really enjoyed our food.We both got two half chickens and appropriate sides and everything was cooked brilliantly.
