Shields shawarma in South Tyneside

Second time ordering from shields shawarma this week. Placed order on website and received excellent service both times. The mixed grill is more than enough for 2 people. The meat was cooked to perfection with lovely chargrilled taste. Was well presented in tray, you can tell someone took the time to put this together rather than throwing all meats in a box. Delivery was much earlier than expected both times by polite delivery drivers.We have had a great experience with Shields Shawarma and will definitely be ordering from here again and recommending friends and family.

I’m very disappointed in this pizza shop i had asked for no ham on my pizza but they had put ham on it. The spicy kebab pizza was awful and so was the chicken kiev. The lady on the phone was lovely but the food was not great. Won’t be ordering again

The worst wrap/shawarma/kebab I’ve ever had. Took over an hour to arrive and I’m struggling to work out how the ‘special’ wrap is special and my son had a standard wrap and it was better (not great) - chips cold and undercooked. I’d heard good things about this place but unfortunately looks like I left it too long before trying as it was pretty disappointing. I’ll edit this post to 2nd worst if I have one worse in future - hopefully not though

This place has slowly went down hill last 3 times I've been my wrap has been over greasy with wet bread and meat is mostly fat and jelly like, inedible!!!

❌⛔️ AVOID - Clearly standards have dropped lately❗️🛑Ordered a take away from here last Saturday. Arrived after around 1 1/2 hours. The dishes were cold, two with the wrong sauces and sides and one meal missing all together.I was told at the time I would receive a £16 refund within two day (half the cost of the total order) which never came through.Following up today, I was informed they’d contacted TheFoodHouse (I don’t believe that at all) and that I would need to do so myself and wouldn’t get a refund from them. Very disappointing after previous great service, won’t be ordering from them again.

First and last order from shields shawarma, delivery time was an hour and a half. When food arrived it was cold. Pizzas were horrible very dry and very little toppings, the garlic sauce made them edible. Wouldn’t recommend, very disappointed.

Can only speak for the sharwarma meat they must of changed the chef who makes the sharwarma we hoped it was a one off but couple of weeks later same stuff big dry chunks now as apposed to the succulent juicy strips of lamb and chicken we were used to getting over the years 😢 this place was amazing absolutely proper gutted now whats crack??

Love the spices of this take away different level best Middle East around north east keep it up guys

Oh my days!!! Fresh, so so tasty, friendly staff, spotless shop. The smell as soon as you walk in is worth 5 * on its own! Well worth the money, loads of food in £21 munch box. Shields Shawarma you can definitely cook our tea again when I'm being lazy.
