The best food around..Although service can be slow most of the time..but tbh..its well worth the wait. Best chw chein and curry. Proper home made chips..which are lovely

Attitude of staff leaves a lot to be desired, rude, no manners taking its customers for granted. I was a regular every week but now take my business to China Cook on Westoe Road.

I normally like Simon and always got my Chinese there but unfortunately on Saturday night I got the same as always but the beef was inedible, I've never had meat as tough and chewy, even my dog couldn't chew it. 😢

It's obvious changes have been made and their for the worse-Used to be consistent with the quality and the way the meat was cut for thehouse special chow mein but not now,we couldn't even eat the beef in our meal tonight and we havn't bought theirprawn crackers for a long time because now their sweeter and thicker too.

This is the best chinese takeaway we've come across in over 30 years..And over the years we've tried a few different ones.. But we've always come back to Simons.Their meals are always perfect, generous servings and they will add or omit ingredients for you.We've used their takeaway for years and have missed them since covid-19 lockdown.

Better than most Chinese takeaways I've had in the past. Sauce, rice, noodle dishes are satisfactory. Not swimming in oil which is great. Battered options (Chipshop options) Are abit dry but still tasty nonetheless. Portions adequate, but for the price would expect just alittle more compared to other shops that price the same. I only order by delivery. Phone customer service could be abit more cheerie, always seem to be a rush. Overall will order again unless I find somwhere better.

The food was tasty enough when hungry but it was very cold. Needed microwaving. The chicken didn't seem fresh, more like frozen chicken strips. Should of known not to order a Chinese from a place called "Simons"
