Lovely family meal. Most had Carvery which was delicious, kids had kids pick mix meals and added drink and dessert for ÂŁ2 which is a great deal! Fantastic service by all team members and management!

Great place for food and drinks for all ages. Me and my family are frequent visitors and have never had a bad experience. All staff very welcoming. Keep up the good work Mandy and all the team.

Second time coming to the story book and can honestly say the staff are brilliant and polite! My son has allergies and they made him a lovely meal, manager “ I think “ came over and spoke to us about the food he was making etc… lovely food and such kind people!! 🙂

Place wasn't busy, but when ordered food, the sauce to go over it wasn't available. No alternative given, no reduction in price. When it came, most of it was cold. Complained about it, the girl took it away, brought it back 5-10minutes later, by this time my wife had finished eating. Guess what? It was still cold. Won't be returning again

Holy moly.... It was terrible! We've been before & if was great but not this day!The garlic bread was just that as it hadn't seen a grill or ovenOut orders placed on their app was "lost"Took 10 mins for the uncooked garlic bread to rwach our table as no table numbers were told to the staffThe fish & chips looked dry & nasty - my mil didn't eat any of itMy sons pizza was a microwaveable one & was still under cookedThe burger buns were at least 2 days past their sell by date & chips were coldPostitives - the staff trying to help, the free desserts but even that wasn't the bestAll in all not great!

Staff are nice but it's not my kind of pub. Visit was so that my niece could go to whacky warehouse.Staff were helpful and friendly and Chatty. Thier coffee and cake offer ÂŁ2.99 was really well priced and worth it.Haven't eaten in the main restaurant so can't comment on the main areas

We had a fabulous visit to the Wacky Warehouse, followed by a wonderful meal in the restaurant. My grandson really enjoyed the Warehouse and was upset that he'll soon be too talll! It was rather cold for me sitting watching. We then went into the restaurant for a meal. Nothing was too much trouble, although we were disappointed to have missed the carvery. I have coeliac disease and so have to have gluten free food. I was brought the appropriate menu. As a vegetarian I was a bit disappointed with the lack of choice, but my jacket potato was lovely. A nice glass of mulled wine soon warmed me up. My grandson 9 had a double burger with bacon and cheese and finished it all, followed by apple pie and ice cream. All in all, with a few issues, a successful visit.
