i had the beef in a bun it was soaked with gravy couldnt pick it up and my partner had a cavery could tell the roast potato was the frozen ones and not a lot of veg to choose from but the turkey was beutifull and so was the Yorkshire pudding .

Friendly welcoming pub with an inclusive carvery serving very tasty and enjoyable meals. They also do a separate menu for sandwiches and lighter meals which are good as well! They do a good Sunday lunch in the pub or a drive through take away which is very good! I have no hesitation in recommending the Grey Hen!

Visited for a coffee for the first time. This normally leads us to ordering food but upon entering we noticed the food was put (as a buffet) and looked really dried up and not fresh at all. This was at 15.00. Also the seats were cushioned where we chose to sit and were covered with stains. The coffee machine looked like a Playmobile one and the coffee was awful. They really should invest in a better coffee machine. So we left after about 10 minutes, unfortunately never to return.

Lovely time with family and my boyfriend for my grandads early 70th birthday meal, lovely Sunday dinner roasts, not much to offer on the menu that wasn't a Sunday roast menu, but generous for those who fancied something different and especially tasty and lovely staff!

really tasty & excellent quality sunday carvery. plenty choice of veg. with massive yorkies. . can get quite busy around 1pm-2pm children size plates also available. highly recommended.

First carvery since covid started. What a disappointment. Food was barely warm, veg. was tasteless and the gravy although tasty should have been served with a sieve, full of lumps. Won't be rushing back👎👎
