Only used the bar for drinks. Was snapped at, glared and scowled at. Made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Had a very League of gentlemen Royston Vasey "local pub for local people" vibe. Will not return waste of time and money.

Friendly staff and clean comfortable room. The music stopped at eleven and the noisy patrons had left by midnight so we could sleep then. However we never solved the mystery of the low water pressure which made showers almost impossible.

What a fantastic hotel. Good price. Clean. Service was superb. All the staff were so cheerful and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing. Could not fault either dinner or breakfast. Excellent weekend. Thank you.

Popped in for lunch to escape the rain and we're so glad we did! Excellent service by lovely staff and delicious food. The portion sizes are immense. Make sure you're hungry if you go!

We went to the Marsden in to celebrate my father in laws 84th birthday. When we arrive they said we weren’t booked in for a table of 6. But they did sort a table out for us. We ordered our meal 5 starters and 6 main meals. We had to wait over 45minutes for our starters and when it did arrive they were cold. Then we had to wait another 30 minutes for our main meals and they only brought 3 out of the 6 as said we only ordered 3. We then waited another 20 minutes for the 3 missing meals to arrive. We were given a discount for the wait but I will not be recommending the Marsden Inn to any of our family and friends. This spoilt my father in law’s birthday celebrations.
