Well priced meals and lovely, pleasant, professional but friendly service. Would happily revisit if passing again.

Lovely food .. friendly helpful staff

Late lunch and always made to feel welcome by kay and her staff . I chose steak with chips . Husband had the famous mince and Dumpling. Steak was probably the best I've had in ages cooked just the way I like it

Visiting the area for the day and found this little gem. Coming from Cheshire we had to try the parmo and it was delicious. Home made chips were to die for. I had biscotti cheesecake for pud and my husband had Jammie Dodger sponge both come highly recommended too. Staff welcoming and very friendly too.

I only went for a pint, they had Madri, Stella and Moretti on draft as options went for Madri was very nice. They still have table service but staff were extremely effecient and very friendly. Didn't have food but I did see others meals going out and they did look very nice and from the menu prices seem very good value

Staff were very friendly and kind. I have found almost everyone I met in the north to be lovely.I ordered the Roast of the Day which was a very good price, and I am please to say I was stuffed. The roast was cooked beautifully and very well flavoured. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, and the music was good. Pity I didn't got there sooner

Wow is all I can say. We went for lunch and it was busy but we were sat quickly by very friendly staff. The meals are massive and very tasty. The veg was fresh and had a lovely crunch to it still the meat was tender and the gravy wash lush. Even had a pudding
