Absolutely brilliant atmosphere, the bar staff, kitchen staff are well mannered and polite. The food is delightful, very appetizing and portion sizes are amazing. I had the Rib Eye for steak night and it was like my plate was gifted from the heavens, I savoured every bite because every fork full of meat was like being kissed from an Angel. My partner had the mixed grill and that I must say looked next level Angelic. Also The choice of music on the Juke box is better than HMV. Anyone posting one star reviews are purely jealous and cannot distinguish between great atmosphere and their own sad existence.

Friendly atmosphere ..tucked away in a really good area natural walks to the coast are to the side of the premises ..and two small but adequate outdoor seating area are great for a relaxing sunny south shields pint 👌

Had a beautiful meal at the white Horse ,everything was cooked to perfection ,staff were very friendly and the place was very clean ,signed in with track and trace ,hand sanitiser ,will definitely be returning ,thank you for a wonderful experience

Had a fantastic meal here. Great food very good prices. Steak and Ale pie. Mince and Dumplings. Fish And Chips plus lots more and the plates were very generous. Highly recommended

First time we've been in since the new management took over. The staff were friendly and the food sublime. I had the Yorkshire pudding wrap which can be ordered with various fillings and then had the raspberry pavlova for desert which tasted delicious. Will definitely be calling in again to try out other things on the menu.
