Absolutely great atmosphere I love going here and will continue to go here great area lovely outdoor seating area and only a short walk to the beach what more could you ask for

It's a bog standard Spoons but you know what you're going to get, there is plenty of space and the people were nice. I had a couple of decent pints from the Allendale brewery. I'd go back in gladly.

Well run and recently refurbished. Other than that it's pretty typical. Like many, parking is available but might require a (very) short walk. In that respect it is better served with available parking than many other 'spoons

Great service, lovely staff. Tables were cleared and cleaned regularly. The older, original part of the pub is a little bit dark and not as appealing but the main area is light, bright and warm.

First time back in a long while . sad the strongbow was no longer available next best mangers was also off. Didn't get to look outside a new patio area. also no peppercorn sauce available with steak meal but meal was fine. And it was nice to call in after such a long time all the best for your future

Was in with the family for the second time pub is great, service is quick.We spent a good few hours in here having a really good time.My dad went to the bar was told he wasn't being served.I asked the guy in charge with the earpiece he said he is well within his rights!Didn't give an answer on why.My dad was behaved just like we was spent plenty of money in there and we all kept to ourselves to then be refused to be served for no apparent reason.We went to 2 other pubs afterwards and was no issue with being served??Was it because we wasn't local??Even though my parents have lived in the area for over 10 years!If it wasn't for that it would of been 5 stars.Hope it doesn't happen again ruined part of the night for no reason.

No surprises regarding food selection and value for money. The usual Wetherspoons menu, can't go wrong. Service was very good. This is a popular place and just managed to get a table. As usual, can order using the App.

Visited the new and improved Wouldhave three times now. Very impressed! Great re-vamp, looks lovely inside with one of the best outdoor spaces, verandas, I've had the pleasure to visit, best in Shields! Food great value for money, had the mixed grill. Would definitely recommend a visit be it just for drinks or for a meal. I will be back!!!

Fully refurbished and made bigger by taking over the nightclub next door. Outside seating area with lots of tables inside. Massive improvement on old building. Staff friendly and helpful, good food and drinks menu at great prices.
