Wolfmann's Eating House in South Tyneside

Loved the "different menu". I had the best Calamari starter I've ever had, slightly spicy yet sweet & sour -absolutely delicious. For the main I chose Ribeye steak and was not disappointed. Will certainly return.

Wow wow wow. We went here for breakfast on sat.£10.00 you get sourdough bread toasted, 2 awesome sasuages, crispy bacon, field mushrooms, grilled tomato and eggs any way you want. Also blueberry pancakes are delicious £8.00 Well worth a visit can't wait to try it on a fri/sat evening

Went on a Friday afternoon, nice look place light a airy, first time at shop, I've been at a party catered by wolfmann's before though and food was superb. Firstly the attitude of the old woman who was serving was terrible. One word answers to our questions, we also asking if they done bowls of food (as in rice bowl) to which she replied no just the burritos on the menu, forced smiles when we left. The food we ordered looked good and tasted good. After 5mins we noticed nearly everyone after us ordered rice bowls.... Which was what we wanted. Also the next day today, Saturday my belly has been iffy and had diarrhoea isn't like me. Can only put it down to this...

Visited last night with family. Had the Heirloom Tomato Salad to start & the Cheese Soufflé with Parmesan Fries. Potentially one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! Absolutely amazing!

Nice atmosphere whilst waiting for our food. To be honest I wasn't impressed with the food. We ordered a ginger chicken salad, salt and chilli ban me (baguette style sandwich) and a belly pork rice bowl. We both agreed it was just too infused with flavours and just a mash up of over salty, sour, saucy etc. Every bite was dripping. Even the coleslaw was sour. The salad was drenched in sauce. The food was cold. The belly pork meat was dry and hard and the huge chunk of fat I pulled out had no meat on it. The chicken was mostly just crunchy batter with no meat in it. Sorry but we won't be going back for and I only really write reviews if I'm very happy or very disappointed. We ate about 20% of our food and it came to £26. The pics are of the food before it went in the bin. The missus didn't want me to take a pic of her salad as she didn't want me to write a review but it was my money that paid for the meal so it's my choice. She was gutted as that salad she barely ate was her cheat meal for the week. She gave 2 stars and i give 1. So ill be generous and give 2 stars. Busy heating up some soup to fill my empty belly.

We went on a Friday evening for dinner. Fantastic food, really something different. Customer service was on point. We will definitely be coming back again and again and………

Sunday lunch 23rd Jan.Lovely food, but, apart from the vegetables, our food was barely luke warm. I think for £14 for one course, you expect your meal to be hot.

Went for a Saturday morning breakfast, food was delicious. Very fresh and full of flavour. Best place to have breakfast in South Shields.They also have freshly baked bread, cakes and treats!

Brilliant food. Laid back atmosphere. Good prices.
