Barwicks in Stockton-on-Tees

Lovely place..doggy friendly..my puppy enjoyed his first puppachino the staff are so friendly nothing is a bother...will be definatly going more oftenChanging my once 5 star review as the very pleasent young lad who served me is no longer there and im afraid the place seems to have gone to pot no organisation bad customer serviceWont be back.

Coffee is expensive, their was 1 staff working and honestly.... paying £3.40 for a Latte to be waiting around for 5 to 10 minutes isn't worth it, even Starbucks next door has more staff and the same expensive drinks!Extreamly disappointed on the first visit, bought the coffee and honestly never got to drink it - 1 Star, would of been 2 for a friendly staff member, however it needs to be addressed so thus the 1.Came in here for a coffee, not to see a staff member exhausting herself, absolute wait service and I ain't a huge fan of Que and Answers (Q&A).

We use Barwicks quite regularly, always the staff helpful and friendly. Nice place for a lite lunch, or a piece of cake and a lovely cup of coffee. Give it a try. Anyone know if it is opening again after lock down, I'm missing it so have to go to Starbucks instead.

Relaxing atmosphere and decent coffee. Dog-friendly and better than the place next door. Definitely recommended

Very nice cosy cafe with a variety of snacks and cakes. Didn't realise it was here, right next to Starbucks but dog friendly and convenient for our stay at the caravan park as walkable distance. Will definitely visit again.

Good coffee tho cups not huge. Lovely scones and good service. Kind of dark inside and a little more pricey than other cafes in the area. Much better than the chain outlet nearby. Best to support a local business. Would go again as the sandwiches looked delicious.

Barwicks opened one year ago and I have been a frequent visitor from day one. The selection of amazing cakes and scrumptious savouries combined with a modern but comfortable interior are some of the many reasons I keep returning. It's a family favourite of ours (including the dog and the kids!) as there is always a warm welcome at barwicks and the loyalty card scheme keeps my caffeine levels up!
