Bengal lancer is my family's main place to order Indian food for a reason.The food is delicious and very filling, we typically have leftovers as you get a lot for your money.We have never had any issues with bengal lancer and we have been using them for years.

Easily the best indian take away in the area. All their specials are fantastic.

Terrible customer service. Placed order online which was cancelled as they did not deliver to my area. This has now left us without the money for 3-5 working days. Manager said he did not have time to contact me to arrange an alternative means of collection. Now left with no food and no money to buy any from another restaurant. Absolutely disgusting telephone manner also. Do not use.

Food tastes lovely. Very light and fresh taste. Staff are always polite and friendly.

Been buying curries from here for years but tonight I decided no more. The price I calculated from the menu and what they quote you over the phone are wildly different. I don't take kindly to being ripped off. Never again, your loss.

I love this takeaway! We've only ordered a couple of times so far, but the food has always been prepared very quickly, and is gorgeous. The portion size is decent and the staff are excellent.

Not sure if we got this takeaway on a bad night but the food was inedible. Ordered a Butter Chicken and a Tikka Masala with 2 Garlic Naan and they were the worst currys I have ever tried. The butter chicken was not a butter chicken it was covered in coconut. The tikka masala was so sweet it set my teeth on edge and also had coconut in it. The naan bread was not garlicky and was more like a pizza base. The sauces were exactly the same except red food dye in the tikka. rang to let the takeaway know, rather then just post a bad review, thought I would give them a chance to rectify it and was told that their currys were extremely sweet and the sauces are made exactly the same except they put a "red paste" in the tikka masala! They weren't willing to do anything about it as they "never have complaints" and butter chicken has coconut in it! I mean come on even a basic cook knows this is not right! Not good service, terrible food, avoid at all costs!!

Have just put my takeaway in the bin!!. Read the reviews and ordered chicken korma and Chicken Tika masala. I think they must have cooked it in a kilo if sugar and laced it with condensed milk UGH. Never again.

As a regular customer with bengal lancer ,As recently as last weekend . We always get an indian meal at least once a month .I phoned the order in as usual .It cost the same as last month .but when on the phone to place my order , there was no mention that the portion sizes have been reduced . By looking at the foil trays compared to last order . It must be between 25 and 30% smaller . But still payed the same as last time totally conned . Never again .
