Lovely cafe, great food, inexpensive, and cosy with a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Since stottie has shut down i needed a new cafe for when I went to Stockton town with my partner or my mum, this will definitely be our new regular cafe, my mum loved the place as well!

Lovely Baked Potato, I had the Corned Beef and Onion, with Coleslaw and salad, my friend had the special Cowboy Baked Potato with the same dudes, both were delicious. Good cup of tea, waitress service was quick and efficient and they were very busy, and the food arrived promptly.. It's a cosy little Cafe in the oldest house in Stockton on Tees. Menu was ample, with a one lovely old fashioned sponge puddings.. Price wise, excellent value for money and they had a child's menu as well. Pay a visit you won't be disappointed.

Had lunch of Steamed beef and ale pie with veg it was lunchtime yet they had no mash so had to settle for chips , the pie which I have had before was very dry and crispy so well overcooked and the veg tasted like frozen veg disappointed as usually it is good

·

Poor service. Went in for coffee, the waitress saw me then disappeared in the back. Waited 2 minutes but still no service....not even an acknowledgement. I walked out.
