Visited Bistro 27/4/22 5:30 for belated birthday with friend. Gorgeous food and prompt service. Recommend garlic bread with tomatoes and main Chicken in flatbread 😊Brilliant service and Matt can't fault your customer service. And to top it all Matt brought out a takeaway cake for my birthday. Thankyou for lovely evening. Definitely going again.Joan😊😊

Looks stunning inside and out. The menu is a nice size. Just enough to choose from. Breakfast until 1130 then the lunch and dinner menu has some really nice foods.Drinks are fairly expensive looking at 5 to 6 pounds a pint. Restaurant prices for a bistro

Spur of the moment Sunday lunch at Ingleby Cafe Bistro, 27 Feb '22.We ordered one beef meal and one pork meal at £12.95 each.The beef was pink and too tough to eat! Lunch spoilt.After politely complaining to a member of staff, we were told that several complaints had already been received, and a deduction of £5 would be made.Bearing in mind previous customers had already made staff aware that the beef was inedible:1. Why wasn't it removed from the menu?2. Why weren't we made aware of this when ordering our meals?3. Why, when food served was not fit for purpose, feel justified in only removing £5 from the bill instead of giving a full refund?Greed overriding decency and good customer service.

Had the best "open sandwich" from here - beautifully cooked. Can't fault it one bit, and a reasonable price too!Great place to take your laptop and work from too!

Been here twice now. And both times had to send food back. First time was the pigeon starter in Nov was cold. Then tonight the king prawn tagliatelle was nothing like the first time we had it. Prawns were tiny. Pasta was like cardboard and no sauce . Had to re order something totally different on the menu. Fair to say will not be back.

What a lovely place. My family took me here for lunch. I wasn't expecting much but it was lovely. Far too much for me to eat. My brother and his wife split their lunch between them. And who could resist their desserts . Very friendly staff could not do enough for us even when extras joined our group. Delightful. Thankyou.

Had a lovely drink. Very nice bistro and clearly very popular as all the tables filled. This did mean a little noisy and felt I was having to shout to hold a conversation but can't blame the bistro for everyone wanting to be there!

Visited here on a Saturday night for a bit of an impromptu date night with the wife. Was pleasantly surprised with both the value and portion sizes presented with a good range of menu options to suit all but the fussy eater. Staff were welcoming and friendly too. Excellent overall experience and we'll certainly be back!
