Jolsha in Stockton-on-Tees

Late night meal after the cinema, never ever disappoints Jolsha - great food, drinks and service, our go to regular restaurant 👏👏👏👏

Terrible service , must of waited over an hour to get our meals , waiter had his thumb in my curry and my prawn cocktail consisted of two small prawns , much better Indian restaurants in Stockton , I won’t be coming back here

Five of us were at jolsha on Saturday evening 2nd of April , the service was dismal , our waiter that served the food had his thumb in our meals and my prawn cocktail starter had only one prawn , when I complained, the waiter laughed ! Won’t be going back there , there are much better Indian restaurants in Stockton

Absolutely shocking service. Were told 90 minutes for delivery. Long enough, but given the fact it's Saturday we were okay about it. 2 hours later still no show. 2 hours and 15 minutes it took.We had to reheat the chips and the rice was freezing. Needs addressing ASAP

Ordered delivery it was late , food tepid at best. Could hardly find any chicken in the vast amount of sauce, which wasn't very nice at all. Rice far to sweet . I can't understand why people rave about this place . I definitely wont be giving it a 2nd chance . Had better curries from Wetherspoons

Took the family for my Birthday tonight. I've also been on a couple of occasions with friends after a night out, the staff are welcoming and friendly. We have never been disappointed 👍👍

Ordering online and delivery was great, however the food was cold, also you really need to look at your description of your meals, tikka masala is not supposed to be bitter salty and inedible, plus a balti is described with a thick sauce not swimming in a watery mess. Im sorry guys for over thirty pounds these two meals were simply bin fodder. Evening was ruined with this poor expensive meal. Can't see me ever ordering again.

We always visit Jolsha's for both takeaway and sit down meals. Tonight I got a takeaway and what can I say other than WOW!!! Amazing 👏 I really can't recommend this place enough.

Food was excellent, However it took 2 hrs to get the food (they were busy but 2hrs!) When the bill arrived it had drinks we didn't order and food we didn't have. After much discussion( not very customer focused) they removed the items after much discussion. The delay was caused I feel by the takeaway meals that were coming out of the kitchen at a rate of knots. They prioritised take away customers over the ones in the restaurant.

Visited with friends on a Saturday night. Food was good and no delays. Restaurant could do with better ventilation especially with Covid, became very hot and stuffy. No windows or doors open.
