Kings Arms in Stockton-on-Tees

Popped in with a mate whilst walking the dogs. Very friendly staff even had a few treats for the dogs. Although I didn’t have anything to eat there was plenty of people eating and the food, especially the pizzas, looked amazing. Will have to go back with the dogs and give it a try.Had to come back to try the food, and was not disappointed the pizzas are unreal and really good value for money

Visited for drinks the other night, service was spot on and Matthew was great on the bar, very quick and informative. Would recommend :)

Was surprised at how nice the food was, very good service and a lovely pint

Arrived at the pub no one to approach as was first time visiting and weren't sure if we had to be waited to be seated or if we found are own table. I had to approach someone to be told to find table and take a seat. When looking round all available tables still had dirty plates on or empty glasses. When food arrived the hunters chicken was dry and no bacon on it. Small postion and fish was also dry. The fish was stated as cod but was whiteing. The offer for monday to Saturday on mains states 2 meals for £12 odd but weren't told the fish was extra £1. No food check back was giving to see if the meals were ok. Was very disappointed and the pub could do with a lick of paint. Would not recommend and wont be returning.

Great place for family dining. Large menu, something for everyone, and the pizzas are normally great out the wood fired oven. This time we went it was busy with the Liverpool match on, and our pizzas were a little burnt, we didn't send them back as it took a while to get them, just left the crispy bits. Servers are very friendly and the kids just messed around outside for a bit before the food arrived. Lovely pub, will definitely be back.

Don't be deceived by the photos.Chicken & Mushroom pie, pastry like a brick, only 2 tiny chicken pieces no mushrooms, chips best thing,gravy thick.Steak pie, pastry hard hardly any steak inside.Very disappointing.DrinksGlass of pinot that was fine but1st pint of larger sent back flat & tasted vile
