Maharaja Tandoori in Stockton-on-Tees

After my sisters recommendation I used this takeaway. Absolutely perfect.that was a year ago the last time I was there.how things have changed. Got my same order tonight. Threw the majority of it away.get your old chef back please.

Had a delishes dansak dish with mixed veg rice I asked for the dish to be temperd down so as not too hot thay delivered what I asked for will definitely be ordering my favourite dish again

Ordered food waited 2hours for delivery, still warm but had to heat the nan bread up. Food very bland, sauce Was very watery as if just made with powder and no spices at all. Very disappointed with the value for price. Will never use again after 15 years of custom. When complaining the person in charge was very negative to my complaint. Should of gone to herons for a frozen meal, be warned.

It's more than a year since we last used this takeaway as the last meal was so bland. Decided to give it another go, hoping things had improved.What a mistake that was. Ordered chicken tikka off the bone, appreciate it is not the spiciest of meals but had more taste from an ice cube. We paid £22 for two meals. Absolute rip off. Will not be returning

Second time we ordered here was Saturday night and again we were not disappointed. The portions are great, the food is excellent and full of flavour. We were also able to collect within 30 minutes which on a Saturday evening is fantastic. I would strongly recommend, thanks guys!

I Ordered a chicken briyani it was just awful the chicken tasted awful and the veg curry was like a thick tinned soup with curry powder added to it and it was cold then i got it. I would not go there again.

Delicious food excellent customer service and this was my first time and will not be my last. Ordered on their website as I know things will be quicker than just eat. They also have their own app which makes life easier. Thank you guys.

The food is nice but the service is disgusting. Waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes after an online prepaid order only to be told on the phone that they delivered the food to the wrong place (we are Flat 10 and they delivered it to house number 10 in the area, which would be an honest mistake if the postcodes weren't different). The problem is that they were not apologetic, had a very sarcastic tone trying to blame me for their mistake (I had clear instructions written on how to get to the flat) and even had the audacity to ask me to go to the person they gave my food to to ask for it back! Eventually, they said they would cook some fresh food and bring it within 30minutes, only to come an hour later. Such a shame, that's how you lose customers, won't be ordering again.

Awful...rang up for delivery at 5pm Sunday and was told to hold I waited about 2 minutes before he took my order...when the meal deal for one come poppadoms was soft..curry was certainly not a dupiaza what I ordered ...it was like a very watery gravy..the seek kebab had a hair in it and totally put me off.. best but was the salad and yoghurt dip. Never again! On a positive was good value for money regarding portion sizes it would have done 2 people 8f it has tasted nice...
