Went today for mother's day had Sunday lunch very impressed not at All like pic on website. Needs updating. So fresh and staff amazing so friendly

Visited here for Sunday lunch today , excellent service. All homemade , fresh seasonal vegetables and tasty good quality meat. To top it off the desserts are amazing too. Would definitely recommend !!

It was a very enjoyable evening good food and banter and after leaving the dining room, we sat in the lounge with a lovely open fire. Food excellant and locals very friendly.

Just called in for a drink with friends...welcoming, friendly, very traditional pub. Great!

It's a small gem with all the charm of a typical traditional rural pub. Great garden with slide and swings and a choice of real ales and sumptuous food

Was visiting from Scotland with family . The food here is amazing and so filling . Staff are very friendly and chatty . Lovely homely feel to it .

Evening meal with one GF and one Yeast intolerant and tweaks were readily available on menu - excellent service and a great sense of humour.

Excellent pub in Egglescliffe village, good beer, good food and a great atmosphere. A proper village pub.

This is a lovely pub. The bars are made from dressers and very ornately carved. They have some nice real ales these included Hobgoblin Ruby and to me the King of ales, Theakstons Old Peculier. The food is to proper grub. The portions are generous no Nuvous Cuisiene here. I can't remember the name but I had a chicken hot shot dish. Basically chicken breast flattened with tomato sauce, pepperoni, topped with cheese and Jalapeño. ( Chicken Pizza) served with large chips and salad. Awesome. Just to top it all off the staff are lovely and friendly. Dave the landlord hasa wicked sense of humour and is entertaining. Can't wait for an opportunity to go back their.

Had our son's birthday here. Lovely couple that run the place couldn't do enough. Lovely garden and good pub grub. Hidden gem well worth a visit
