Lovely beer garden, good selection of draught and great food.One of the best pubs you can go to.

4 of us went for lunch today. Steak and Ale pie was outstanding. Packed with the tenderest beef and tasted delicious.Staff very pleasant. Altogether a great experience will certainly return, great price too.

Went to this pub for the first time today expecting a lunch menu which is advertised on their website. To be told that they no longer do one (which is in fact false advertising) so we went on to order from full menu. Partner had fish and chips which he could not eat at all as smelt funny and did not taste nice. I had what I thought was a chicken breast burger with bacon and cheese the chicken was infact just bits of chicken smothered in cheese to make it look like a burger. Then charged full amount even though partner only had one mouthful was not even offered a substitute meal. Suffice to say will NEVER eat at this establishment again and will certainly never recommend it !! I have had to put a 1 star rating as it will not let me post a zero star rating which is what we give it !!

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was great would definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely beer garden at the back,good disabled access inside and out. Good menu,price also Good. Will be back.

Called in for tea one night just passing this lovely little pub , very nice menu very tasty home cooked food.Will definitely visit again when passing.

Went to The Smiths Arms for my Son and Daughter-In-Laws wedding reception meal. The pub was very clean, staff were really accommodating & polite & the food was amazing. Thank you to Lauren & other team members for a lovely welcoming and your hard work

Beautiful cosy local pub which is family and dog friendly. Well priced drinks and food. Proper burgers and chips. Great staff and lovely Steve the fish. Good parking out the front. Recommend!

Fantastic food and service last night. Table of 8, pub was busy, food and drinks served quickly. Special mention to Katie, Paige and Lauren who were all great.

New management, a good clean and lick of paint have made the pub a very enjoyable relaxing village pub again. The beer, wine and spirits selection has been increased, and by all accounts the food is very good although iv yet to try it. Edit: iv now had a few meals here all of which have been very good, I especially liked they Sunday lunch.
