Starbucks in Stockton-on-Tees

Originally going to be 2 stars, thanks to the "Ad" making one click by a mistake.... its now 1 star.Where to begin? Food here is semi to poor in tastiness, for the price being around £3.50 they are way better places out there for food.For the coffee???? It depends on choice, times it can be either sickly or just a disappointing overpriced coffee with nothing special too it, the coffee beans used in it are your regular coffee grinds, it doesn't have the fresh or best taste the coffee from Starbucks use to have, instead its more bitter or bland with creams just to hide/mask the quality.For what people pay just for a nice cup of coffee is robbery in plain sight, would I recommend Buckster the Buster? Definitely not since they are nicer coffee shops out there.For the advertisement sakes, QUIT USING IT! Was Originally going to rate between 2-3 stars for quality on the food and drinks, use to be a regular customer too until the disappointing factors kept piling up, now the rating for Starbucks is at a mere 1 just how heavily advertising has brought a new way of disappointing the service.

Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Prices are high but hey, that's the way "premium" coffee happens 😉Go here when you're sufficiently monied up and need a hot caffeine fix.

The same drinks taste different every single time. Not only does this branch charge extra for things that come as standard, when told the drink wasn’t right, the lady at the window took the drink, added more syrup and ice, blended and handed it back to me. I was left with a watery tasteless disgusting drink which went straight in the bin. The staff here clearly do not care about their customers.

Awful place. Outdoor seating is basically in a car park. Poor service from disinterested staff. Way over priced for what you get.

I don’t get why the same drink tastes different everytime, today tasted like a warm milk, no coffee despite extra shot. Constantly new staff. Drinks depends on who’s working. Wont be returning anymore don’t have money to waste.

Nice cafe in a convenient location with free parking. Big tables to meet up with a group of people or smaller quieter spaces.

Nice atmosphere, free WiFi. Great selection of drinks, cakes and sandwiches. Comfy seating too. Stay as long as you like inside or for a quick spin through the drive thru. Dog friendly too which we love.

Poor flat white today, very very bitter and had a toasties that was soggy on bottom (untoasted) and tough crusts with barely any filling. Really disappointing. Daughter was happy with her latte though, hence the 3*

*COVID-19 Review *The staff and friendly, cleaning seems up to scratch and the coffee is as delicious as ever!Due to the restrictions you can't drink inside currently but it's clear how you go in and grab a drink and where you wash your hands etc.One thing I would say, (and to be fair to the staff it was very busy at the time) but it seems that the mobile ordering process is a little messy?After me and my partner ordered and paid for drinks ahead of time, via mobile the staff didn't come out and let us know and due to covid we thought we'd wait until it was necessary to go in and the signs outside didn't cover mobile ordering.We headed in and got given the drinks at the counter which was alright but this might confuse people.
