Good food hope it lasts just wish they'd change name back to rimswell

Really disappointed got the Groupon deal we had steak and chips it was.grissly over cooked and.mostly burnt chips and no coleslaw when we asked we where told its because the chef was on his own however there was only a group of 4 currently eating us and another couple waiting for food we won't be going back very disappointed. The image used in the advert is a stock image from shutterstock and nothing like the plate we where served. The drinks where very expensive £9.70 For a G&T and a PINT of lager

Had a great 3 course meal along with the Christmas quiz. Food was really good, great portion sizes and served really hot. Definitely will be back.

Had a few meals here now all food is presented lovely and tastes lovely can't fault it agree with some other reviews staff could be more sociable there is 1 lady small dark hair brilliant and very attentive but the rest need to do the same.

Good service, very friendly staff. From entering pub to food on table= 6 minutes. Chicken and topping on parmo cold. Not so sure about fresh cooked food.

Called in for a Sunday lunch, out of the blue. 2 turkey dinners. Both of us totally enjoyed every mouthful. Just enough even tried cloudy cider on tap was delicious. We will be going again.

Went for Sunday lunch as I had friends visiting from South Africa. It was a lovely lunch and overall a good experience, the reason there is only 4 stars is because we had to wait quite a while for our meal.

What a disappointment!! Saturday evening full of kids, noisy & running about. Lots of empty tables but not cleaned at all!! Asked about a table for food, told we could sit outside ( it was raining) staff behind bar didn't know what rose wine was, had to show her the right bottle!! Also noticed a lot of girls going to the bar who were obviously under 18, yet no one asked them for ID.. Will not be visiting again .

I had my wedding reception in The Rimswell and I had an excelleant experience there , Free room hire (landlord laid on extra staff ) , partitioned the main rooms for us (on a Saturday night) and overall made us feel very welcome . And he let us stay way past last orders which is always a bonus. Overall, top notch
