Great pub stunning location lovely aspect polite service ambient lighting is spot on, great food, only grumble is when it’s rainy and cold light the fires because the place is by the river and suffers from freezing cold radiators and a damp smell that empties the place out quick time.

Place was nice, started to get busy probably need more staff to cope... Parmo wasn't the best but I would go again and try something different. Staff are friendly juts let down by the parmo.

The current set 3 course Sunday menu is both outstanding value and outstanding quality. Service was spot on and we had a brilliant afternoon. Thanks.

My son went there for lovely food and drinks, unfortunately he did not see the sign to say you needed to enter car registration. He received a parking fine and when he went to discuss with the manager, he was extremely helpful and hopefully no parking fine. A big thank you from both of us and next time we visit we will make sure we enter car registration 😀

Lovely beer garden. Had the weather for it. Ordered the Cajun chicken mountain when they say mountain they mean mountain. Loads of food and it was lovely. My other half had the burger which she said was lovely. The lad behind the bar was great only happy to help.

Only went in to turn the car round but thought it looked lovely and would pop in for a coffee.Best thing I did all day latte was lovely and the staff behind the bar as busy as they was still made time for every customer. As for the food tho that taken awhile To come to the table and everyone seems to moan about that. But good food takes time to cook and I have no problem waiting for food. If you want fast food go KFC.The parking.I read loads of reviews while having my coffee and mostly they're pathetic moaning about getting a fine. It's in nearly every pub nowadays where you have to put your reg in and I welcome it. It means you no you'll get a space instead of people parking there all day and walking to work. Plus I no it's not rocket science but if your the driver and your parking it's your job to make sure 'you' park 'your' car somewhere safe and legal. You get a fine it's your own fault. This pub is a good hour away from home but I would definitely recommend going and I'll be taking mum again soon
