Visited for some food and was very disappointed. I ordered fish and chips which they didn't have so I settled for scampi which should be a safe bet but was dry and tasteless. My wife had chilli con carne which was so runny it looked like soup and again had no taste. The beer was and the facilities are fine but the food is so bad that I will not be going back in a rush. My advice is there's lots of better places to spend your well earned money. I won't be going back soon.

The attitude of the staff in here was terrible. They had no manners, were rude and unhelpful when my partner and I visited last week. The food when it arrived was barely warm and the size of the jumbo scampi was laughable. The pieces were about the size of a 1 pence coin. When asked, was our meal alright we told the waitress it was barely warm and that we had ordered the jumbo scampi but thought we had been served the cheaper meal which was listed simply as scampi. She sighed, rolled her eyes and went to walk away, my partner then asked if we could speak to the manager. Another girl came to the table and announced she was the manager. We told her the same as we had told the waitress, the manager then said jumbo means you get 3 more pieces of scampi than the cheaper meal. We looked again at thd menu and read it as being very badly worded. We said it was also cold and she simply said it shouldn't have been and went to walk away. We stood up and left after that leaving the remainder of the meal and our drinks. We reported this to the head office and are awaiting a reply. We will not be returning or recommending them to anyone else.

25 minute wait for 2 dry, luke-warm burgers. Pitiful amount of salad, and a small scrap of cheese. Served with oven chips that were only just done.Could have made better at home for the price we paid.Best thing about the meal was the Pepsi max..

The Centenary is my local pub where l often go with a friend for my tea. On my recent visit l complaint about the food not being hot. Straight away I was offered a fresh meal wich was delicious. Chris the Kitchen manager was very apologetic . He was very professional. I will be going back. Thankyou Chris for brilliant service

I’m putting this review on behalf my mum. She booked a table for her and a friend for Christmas lunch. My mum says that it was awful, when the food came to the table the food was stone cold. The veg looked to be frozen and not fresh, small portions considering that they paid £82 for the both of them. When the waitress came and asked if everything was okay, my mum said no and that it was cold. The waitress did say she’d pass it on instead of sourcing them some more food that would of the right temperature. My mum had also booked a table for New Year’s Day, however this was cancelled due to the poor service and standard of food. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone for food.

The need a new chef!!! Christmas Dinner was AWFULL!!!!!!!!!!literally the worse dinner I've ate and I do not leave comments....Neither half a Yorkshire pudding!!Literally disgusting!! The garvy was awful it was like they had poured it into ashtrays, the taste of it... If they are going to say it was because it was meant to taste smokey, well it was absolutely horrible!!Seriously, literally will not go back for food!!!!

Good basic food with choices. Pub has different areas in it's open plan format so you can avoid kids or have them with you. The table app is useful. Only issue is some waiting time. Some interesting sizzling dishes served near us.

Gent that showed us to table spot on, lady behind bar lovely too but threw me a little when saying "i will get freshly clean cutlery for your son" mmm did that mean ours weren't clean? Lol i know what was meant. Very good overall 👌
