Solid estate pub. Good beer, lovely folks. Doesn't serve food. Be warned!

·

Great local pub, karaoke on a Saturday night

·

Local pub for locals. Real ale was off but friendly enough.

·

Came here with a group of friends and enjoyed my visit. Friendly staff and a good range of drinks

·

Nice beer and plenty of seating. Been a local go to for 21 years but is now very jaded and no longer does food.

·

Had the worst fish and chips. Overcooked and no flavour. Only the beans were acceptable! Complained at the bar and was brushed off with 'You should have sent it back!' No apology. Avoid if you can.

·

Fantastic pub, staff are so friendly and welcoming. Always a decent guest ale on at the bar along with the mainstream favourites. Plenty of entertainment if you're into pub quizzes etc.Food is good and at a decent price - proper pub grub. Can't really go wrong!

Ordered two meals and enquired about a pint for a pound only to be snapped at that the offer finished a 4pm. The meals were thrown together and warm at best. The attitude of the staff is horrendous and goes along way to explain why it is empty most times I have visited.Staff are miserable unless you are one of the regulars who are treated with smiles and warmth. If they treated everybody this way they may have more regulars.

Frequented the pub regularly over last few years usually with no issue. Went tonight and food was bad but attitude of manager was horrendous. My wife ordered steak pie, 1st offering was so hard it could have broken a window so politely complained got offered a fresh dish and complementary drink. Second offering was hot around the outside but cold in the middle, raised issue again and manager attended table. Insinuated my wife was lying claiming nothing wrong. Attitude was disgusting border line bullying. Such a shame as one EMPLOYEE with terrible attitude marred reputation of pub!
