The Falcon at Hilton in Stockton-on-Tees

Very disappointing. I had the small Sunday Lunch. We were there at 6.30pm. What I didn't expect was that they served a dinner that had been ready for lunch time. The roast potatoes and carrots were so hard I couldn't cut into them, and yorkshire pudding was hard and dry, obviously it had been cooked at lunch time. The only thing fresh were the vegetables that came separately. Terrible. They shouldn't put Sunday roast on the menu at 6.30pm if it was cooked at 12pm.

Great food, extensive menu and reasonable prices quick service in a v nice village pub.

Real good home cooked food topped off with really nice and efficient staff.

Lovely pub that ive used for a long time, but the meal we had on this occasion was well below par. Had the steak and ale pie which was that dry in my wifes case was uneadable, and really must have been made 5 days to a week previous totally unacceptable to the extent wont be using the falcon again.

Went for Sunday lunch, staff were very courteous and efficient.The lunch was lovely apart from the meat which appeared to similar to sliced meat bought from a supermarket.I had pork which came without crackling, which was very disappointing; this also made it seam like the meat wasn’t cooked as a joint and carved fresh.My husband had beef and it was the same, more suited to a sandwich than a Sunday lunch. Everything else on the meal was superb, especially the Yorkshire Pudding.

Went on Sunday evening for Sunday Roast. Meals delivered were not up to usual standard. Veg was uncooked and difficult to cut. Manager took same away to have fresh meals plated. Replaced meals were worse than original. potato was cold, roast potatoes had just been warmed selection of veg was disgraceful. Manager stated that chef had tested temperature of food and it was all above 60deg. I think that was Farenhiet!!

Lovely people but after being assured gluten free and vegetarian available , there was a poor choice for a Sunday lunch.Those who had the Sunday lunch were disappointed. Not going back sorry. Need to up your game. The fish I got was awful.

Food took a while to arrive but it was quite busy (Saturday night). I've had better meals in there before than what I had tonight but I would still return.Pleasant decor and setting in general.

Went for a parmo a few weeks back. Have to say, it was one of the best parmos we have had!!!Service was brilliant, very quick and attentive.Have been many times and always had a good time. Can't wait to go back 😃

I was a little unsure of what to expect as there was no website that I could find to look at the menu before hand. We went on a Tuesday at 12pm when it opened and it soon filled up. Bar staff were friendly and helpful. Meal sizes are on the large size which meant I had no room for pudding. I expressed my disappointment to the server who suggested I take it home. 😁 This made my day! The steak and ale pie was packed with meat and the pastry was delicious. I chose the toffee apple crumble and it was one of the best that I have ever tasted.I would definitely go back and recommend to others.
