Good food and great value for money. There is a children's play area next door so it's perfect for the children to have a run around while the parents finish their drinks.Sometimes with cheaper meals they can be quite bland but not these; I had the mixed grill and it was spot on.We used the app for table service and it was nice and easy and meant we didn't have to queue either.Service was a bit lukewarm otherwise it would have rated higher.All in all, we got two adult meals, two children meals, drinks and two ice creams. With the £5 off voucher, it came to £37.50. Good value and somewhere we will return to.

Had two steaks and asked for them to be medium done and both came out rare so not cooked to the way you ask but good value for money just think the chef needs to learn how to cook steaks other then that was very nice food and staff was nice enough 😀

My grandmothers after funeral function was hosted by this pub. They offered a lovely buffet and the staff were fantastic. Nice commuity pub, not bad prices. What more needs to be said.

Food is good but the things you expect in a restaurant or a bar its not done.

If you have a QR code to use then don't bother as they don't work here. The assistant manager was very rude and wouldn't help us at all. Already poured are drinks and then complained that it will put his stock limit down to just poor them down the sink anyways. Refused to serve us due to this even tho it's their fault 🤣 never going back.

We came for a family meal and were unable to have all of us stay. My step dad once again is left out of this situation for being in a wheel chair they were busy I agree with that however they sat a party of 6 at a table which was disabled access even though they arrived after us and then proceeded to tell us they was no disabled access left and the only way he would be able to be seated was if he got out of his chair climbed up a step which dosent have any support for him to hold onto and sit in an area which is not suitable. The staff managed to seat us as my step dad didn't want us to miss out and he went home. After we were seated my step dad could of fit on the end of the table we where at but they wouldn't allow it as it would block the way slightly. They also then sat a table of four at a bigger table than we have where my step dad could of sat at. The first photo is our table and the second is a table that would of been better and more suitable for a disabled access.

Had a Sunday lunch carvery this weekend (6/2/22) & didn't hold much hope as last time it was horrible. But I pleasantly surprised, will definitely go back!

Nice environment, good value for food

I was going to leave 4 stars, the food was lovely but did not come out as advertised odered chicken platter, was on the menu and the tandoori fillet was the selling point.A plain chicken fillet came out, no onion rings or corn.Politely mention it to the waiter who took the plates away, went to the manager and first thing he said was they can't have a free meal or words to that affect just apologise. Which did upset me, made me feel like that's all I was trying to get. I had already said it was lovely.Waiter came back and politely explained, he was professional through and through, shame the manager wasn't as well saying this where it can be heard. The manager has left a sour taste and was our first time at a sizzler restaurant, in future will use a different one.

The establishment is exceptionally clean and well presented and has wonderful parking facilities. The bar staff were super polite and exceptionally accommodating. The chef/food; Quite frankly, was embarrassing. I would not eat here again.I ordered a steak. The menu describes it as being served with sizzling onions and seasoned chips.Firstly the steak; I asked for well done. There was blood in the middle. I had no option but to return it. It came back chronically burned.The chips were not seasoned. The portion was tiny and there were so many bad ones with huge black eyes in them that when I went through them to remove the bad ones there were only 17 chips left on my plate. As a chef myself, I would not have presented them with black eyes and bad potato clearly showing.Next came the onions. First critique is that they were badly chopped. All different thicknesses and shapes. Again, no care in the presentation, but, also causing a problem in that they couldn't be evenly cooked.They arrived raw. Not a bit raw but completely raw. There wasn't even a slight colouring of brown on them. I politely pointed it out to the waitress who took them. Again, the second time, they were raw. I took the plate back a third time and said it says sizzling onions please will you ask the chef to cook them properly for me. I don't like raw onion. They came back so black and burned that they were inedible. Absolutely jet black! He had his heat too high and absolutely destroyed them.My friend asked for a salad and specified no tomatoes. It came full of tomato. We picked out 7 pieces.I genuinely think this chef is untrained or, lazy and doesn't want to put the time required in to cook things appropriately. It was immediately obvious that he has his heat too high and is cooking for quickness rather than quality and presentation.It's a shame as it is a great venue.
