Delivery was late but the food was gorgeous would order again

Honest reviewTime quoted for collection was bang on, food well packaged without oil spilling all over which is the norm for most Indian take aways, mushroom puri- full of flavour however it was far too sweet for my liking I’ve never tasted this dish that sweet, edible and good quality ingredients just too sweet for me, lamb rogan Josh, again ingredients where good quality meat cooked perfect, however the dish just lacked any flavour … really bland, I’ve had worse but definitely had much better, chapattis and Nan bread, cooked perfect, rice was lovely and plenty flavour,

The staff are friendly and the food is usually great (I've been going for 15+years)The last time I ordered the food was terrible, chicken in a, bright orange, sauce - nothing like a madras; in taste or appearance.I wouldn't normally; but I took it back for a refund, which I received.

Ate here recently, got a few meals and starters, rices and naan's. Not a one of them was up to scratch. The rices were greasy and the meals were flavourless. I've eaten a lot of curry in my life and this is down there with some of the worst. If I had to guess, I'd say they rely on footfall from the pub so don't purchase the best ingredients. I've had microwave meals from supermarkets that were twice as good.

Best indian takeaway in the area! Very spicy without being over hot. We normally have prawn balti and chicken madras. Recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just ordered the lamb methi we had a hour and a half wait. Can I say it was well worth the wait absolutely gorgeous. Would definetly recommend.

Food good. Been a customer for years. We live on a farm and driver has decided he won't come down the lane. We have to go to the main road to collect it. Manager says he can't do anything about it. Tail wagging the dog..!!! Won't use again....Shocking!!!

Just has one if the best takeaway meals ever from here. All elements inc starter, naan and rice were fantastic. I had to fight off my wife and daughter as they kept trying mine as they decided against a takeaway. Only criticism was Bhaji was not hot enough.

Can't even give them 1 star. Absolutely shocking - the delivery driver runs the show. Because we live on a farm he (the delivery driver) REFUSED to deliver our food because the road was muddy/bad. The drive has a few potholes but at present is totallingagood dry. So if you dont live in the perfect area with perfect roads dont order fromThe Palm they won't deliver. Poor girl on the phone was so embarrassed and was very apologetic. But manager owner was absoluty.pathetic

Disappointing. Food delivered 40 minutes late because "the driver had another delivery" and cold. Called to complain to first be offered a discount next time (there isn't going to be a next time), then to be passed to a gentleman who insisted the food wasn't cold because they have, and I quote, "special boxes". Basically called me a liar. To which he got a less than pleasant response. Late, cold, and rude staff (owner?). All round awful experience, would not recommend. Top tip. Had I not been accused of dishonesty, I wouldn't have bothered with this review. Shame really.
