Really nice food, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Have no complaints and would definately come again.

We will definitely not be eating here again. Booked a table for Sunday lunch they couldn't find us a table so put us at the back of the pub in a hot stuffy conservatory sitting on narrow benches. The staff were standing around chatting we waited so long I had to go and ask for menus they were chatting for so long they forgot about us. They never bothered to come and take our order I had to go and interrupt their chat to give them our order. When the food finally came it was bland just warm and I had to go and ask for the veg they forgot to bring. Trying to get the bill was just as bad. Never eating there again Awful staff no comment on the food

Just been tonight for a birthday meal, 8 of us . Little bit cramped in, and anyone wanting to go to toilet meant 3 or 4 other people having to exit table so not great. Food was good, service was slow. Will I go back, probably not.

High quality grub in an cosy village pub. Can recommend any of the seafood dishes, all fantastic! We will be back soon!

Top tier 👌 food was delicious and the staff were amazing - managed to squeeze us in even though we hadn't booked. Veggie/vegan options were delicious, my other half thought they were eating actual meat (plant-based burger). Definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely superb food, Thai Mussels were amazing. Portions too!! Great staff, very friendly and professional. Elegant decor and furnishings giving it that special kind of ambiance. The Vane Arms is definitely in a class of its own. It's the new go to place for a great meal whether it is romantic, family or friends.

A lovely pub set in a beautiful village. Food was very good quality and tasty. Service was excellent also. Would go again!

The food and service was excellent. I had the haloumi as a starter followed by steak pie. Both were lovely, especially the pie which I choose to have with a double portion of winter veg. The pub's decor and atmosphere is very pleasant.

My friend and I visited today. First class service, beautifull food very well presented, fish and chips plus beautifull desserts. Warm friendly atmosphere. Will certainly revisit. Thankyou Ben and fellow workers.
