Wow, what a great little pub. Impromptu stop for Sunday dinner. We didn't have a booking but they went out of their way to squeeze us in. Food was really delicious, probably the best pub roast we've ever had. Highly recommended.

Went for Mother’s DayFood was amazing though 1 piece of carrot and 6 peas and a bit of cabbage and mash was disappointing- saying that I can’t eat a lot and the meat was lovelyBooked well in advance- waited at bar to be shown to tableSay for 10 mins before approaching the bar and Aparantly we had to go order food and drinks- fine but if u had let us know we would have done this soonerHad to go and order desserts in a really busy bar- again Mother’s Day so fully accept how busyOnly 2 members of staff on the bar- dealing with everyone. Would have said 3 but the girl in the addidas top who looked like she’d been dragged out of bed for her shift that spent the time avoiding everyone seriously caused sooo much work for your other already busy staff

Been for a meal and the Quiz night.Meal was nice just the Fries were cold. Asked for hot ones and got them.Quiz was different to the ones we know. Was good fun.Just a bit to long.

Been going to this place since I was 16...ahem ..42 years ago.It has four distinct areas each with its own feel and style. It is very well decorated and has a very warm welcoming feel.We had food which was absolutely excellent and well priced. Good range of drinks and friendly staff.It's s bit out of the way but thoroughly worth the effort. Get yourself there

Have been to Wellington to watch the football matches. The atmosphere was nice, stayed downstairs as we loved to watch in a quiet environment. As it was not crowded we were well served. The food was nice. Will visit here in future too.
