Attended a party here last night and the two girls at the bar were absolutely disgusting their attitude was vile. They were stuck up and arrogant. Fair to say all of us won’t attend again. In reply of the comment if I could of put no stars I would😉. In other news I was not the one bringing “5 bottles” in as I’m pregnant😂I will happily send over two proofs of ID proving I hit “adulthood” 3 years ago. I was not trying to get served as I had Coca Cola all night😂. Maybe you should teach your staff manners since they think it’s completely fine to make a 5 year old child cry.

Enjoyable night, great bar area, 2 pool tables, 2 snooker tables, 2 dart boards, plenty of seating

Good venue for our disability darting event, although wheelchair users wasn't able to get on to the main stage to play in any finals..Wheelchair users had to play on the wheelchair accessible board set up on the floor level, and all other people just walked in the eyeline of the wheelchair users, but this was our first time here and we have learned a lesson from it. The venue had nothing to do with the set up of that though, but we overcame the problem by putting some chairs across to stop people walking by when wheelchair user was playing..We are returning again to this venue, and hope to make it a regular venue for our Northern events..Vanessa who ran the event for us was amazing and is a credit to the venue 👏 helped by her mum Teresa the event ran rather smoothly..The bar staff were nice an friendly..The only actual downside to this venue was the wheelchair accessible toilet, it needs an automatic hand dryer..!! There was nothing to dry our hands on, other than toilet paper, and it didn't have a toilet roll dispenser, so the toilet roll got wet holding it, and was also a hazard if it fell on the floor, as this hung precariously on a grab rail.. Also a working auto hand wash/soap dispenser is needed as very small hand wash basin and the carex hand pump soap that was there, was far too big for the wash basin area AND it was empty, I mentioned to bar staff on the first day, and it wasn't renewed over the 3 days I was there.!!! I even diluted the tiny bit left in the bottom a little with water to get some soap out, and was still same when we left..For a great accessible venue please take some further considerations on the wheelchair accessible toilet, many thanks,Just one other downfall was all the broken glass over the car park area, not good for wheelchair users..The burger van on site was an added bonus.. Sandwiches over the bar were nice, had a sausage roll but it was rock hard, think it was in the heated cabinet a little too long..An enjoyable venue, great party place, Saturday night entertainment was a blast.. I didn't stay for it but it was a great night from the ones that stayed..

If you have any doubts about visiting Thornaby Sports Club don't. There's security on main door. They take your temperature. They ask you to login with NHS App if you don't have the App. Then you can fill in a form. Masks must be worn. On the floor is clearly marked the correct way for you to be going. We had booked a table in the Concert Hall. As we entered the Concert Hall our name was taken and we were shown on the map which table we had been allocated, told were to obtain bingo books and how long they would be on sale for. When you are seated at your table you may remove your mask. Table service is in operation, so no going to the bar. If you wished to visit the toilets then you need to put your mask back on. The tables are spaced out. You could be sat a single, double or triple table. The most people you can have at these tables is 6. I counted 26 groups of tables. Only 2 weren't occupied. Will definitely visit again 😃😊
