Amiro's in Sunderland

Excellent location in Sunderland close to all amenities. Busy as Father's day but staff jovial, friendly and welcoming. Superb ambience and the service and food was fabulous. Excellent and varied menu and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

First visit tonight & I couldn't fault it, the staff are brilliant & the food is absolutely delicious 10/10

Went for 1st time and it was fabulous couple weeks ago ,go and support local businesses,they do a set menu mon-thu 5pm and 7pm if required

Had a quick, happy hour meal before the footie match. It was heaving. Had to wait a little longer than usual for our main meal (hence, the 4 stars) as it was so busy, but the food was worth it, delicious ! Still one of my favourite Italians in Sunderland and would definitely recommend it.

This is the worst Italian food I have ever had garlic bread way over cooked and dry, chicken alla creama was disgusting the sauce yellow!! I get that it has mustard in but that’s all you could taste And again cold , very friendly staff until you complain and then they were totally rude all talking at the bar about us and kept looking over with a very frosty reception from then …. Will never return here

Food great..starters ..mussels with white wine were perfect..black pud and pepper sauce was great...perfect meat feast pizza..and pasta dish was great...nice atmosphere and staff fantastic....this was busy Saturday night for pre theatre meal ..only advice is book..(we did) they didn't have walk-in space when we were there...nice problem to have

Friendly staff, decent prices, quick service. Food was ok. Potato skins were too thick, tomato based sauces were ok, meatballs were quite good. Can't really complain overall but wouldn't recommend either, was just ok.
