This good local pub with traditional pub food is closing for 3 weeks, only to reopen as another Italian restaurant(like we needed another) it's a disgrace that the brewery are allowing this when people were prepared to take it over and run it as a good traditional pub.As I understand the regulars have already said they won't be going back and what about the people who walk and pop in for a drink. Again we are losing our traditions to profit 📈 😢

Called in from having a walk. Love how they let dogs in one part of the pub. Friendly staff and delicious food. Would definitely come back xx

Both dishes we ordered were absolutely superb and very reasonable price. If in the area again Will definitely be back highly recommended

We Stopped in here for a coffee while out with the dog, asked for some water for the dog which came in an actual dog bowl which was great as our dog won't drink from anything else. The pool table needs a little attention but was still fun to play.We will be making a return visit in the future

Terrible service my pint was like water the chef was never seen almost as if he hid in the kitchen cant really say much more although I have been told many times they do a great kids punch 👍

Great pub and located in a fantastic area. It’s a pub that I worked for many years ago, and since new ownership in the last ten years has gone from strength to strength. It’s not the busiest out of the 4 pubs on the strip, but can definitely pack out and become quite lively when the karaoke starts on a Saturday night! Great prices on the beer and has become a very popular place for christening parties and Sunday food. Looks directly over the fatfield river and has some really beautiful views. Is split onto two different compartments so if your a little older like me you can go to the right hand side of the building where there is a quieter bar. Bar staff are great and also has a pool table to enjoy. Well worth a pop in if your going down the strip any time soon!
