Cafe On The Park in Sunderland

We couldn't go on holiday and not go to the cafe fantastic staff and very friendly food is fantastic we has our breakfast every morning at 9 when opened looking forward to next year's holiday x

Nice enough area and the kids park is lovely, but the staff are horrible, we purchased a coffee for my partner and gave my son a juice that we brought with us as we prefer he drinks things that we choose being only 3.We where then abruptly told that only items purchasedon the premises my be consumed on the premises.Now I understand rules are rules but surely some considerations should be made before rudely scaring off paying customers.

Fantastic little spot for lunch. Location-wise, it's a bit overshadowed by Penshaw Farm, but is absolutely worth a trip on it's own merits! Was made to feel really welcome by the incredibly friendly staff. Will definitely be going back - the breakfast in a bun is too good not to sample again. Give it a try - it's worth it!

Lovely little cafe. Great walks and breathtaking views around the park and where there are acres of space for dog walking, and a skate board park for the young folk. We love to feed to ducks down the lower pond and get an ice cream from the van that often parks up there. The park has also hosted some big events and festivals. Must visit

Doesn’t have anything we could eat with being gluten free, but tea was nice and park is good too

Very pleasant and friendly, staff are great and the prices/food/drinks are actually great value for money, makes for a lovely day out with kids of all ages & a good walk in what feels like the country side 💞😊

Fab little cafe with great food at good price much of it is home made me and the kids love it

Nice little cafe at the park don't expect anything spectacular but it'll get a a cuppa or drink and something to snack on so can't complaint at all

Nice cosy little place to stop off for a cuppa or a light meal. Very helpful friendly staff.

Food not bad,nice place on sunny day next to play park. Good selection of kid friendly stuff to choose from and provide water for dogs.All in all not bad at all if you are pushed to get something for the kids when at the park
