Up here for work. Didn't want to eat in the hotel. Came across this little gem. All food was piping hot, served quickly, reasonable prices. Well worth a visit

Food was really good!So I had the butterfly prawns with sweet chilli sauce I belive they were coated in panko super light batter crispy as hell and so fresh and juicy so enjoyable. My main was a hog father burger which came with 3 onion rings and chipsThe burger had Chipotle beef which was banging and the burger was real good in a brioche bun, the chips were loop warm and slightly a let down.My mate had the chilli dog and it was massssive and he loved every bite

The set out was good. Shame they took food off early. Maybe I'm getting old, the band was proper loud. Beware though, this is a local pub, and some locals do stare at u

Excellent place to eat. Super friendly and welcoming staff and the food is great. Eat here rather than the Toby Inn across the road. Ideal for people working away or a quick bite to eat. Highly recommended.

The food was amazing. The interaction with staff was okay. Music very loud. But, still enjoyed my time there

The place is for real champs, really! Quality food and staff! The layout and and style of sitting; well planned out. There's a spot to suit any kind of person. Anytime at the champs is a good time to be there. And if you love watching your favourite sports on TV, even better to watch it there. Top spot!

Lovely homemade pizza and topped chips. Cocktail was lovely but the fruit in it seemed really mushy. We went as a family and our son loved it, can't wait to go back. Lovely staff and atmosphere.

Came for some food with the missus, really disappointed!.Food is really cheap ingredients thrown together. Frozen chips, frozen onion rings, pulled pork was debatable it came from a pig, Aberdeen Angus burgers???? Really?. It was cheap mince shaped into something that resembled a burger.Sure I found a knuckle in it.DO NOT COME HERE FOR FOOD!!!!.Absolutely terrible

Really nice place, was staying nearby and had eaten somewhere else. Wish we had gone here to be honest. Staff all friendly, loads of different draught beers. What can't you like. 5🌟 UPDATED : working in the area again and glad I tried the food, loved it 👍 here for the week and with football being on all week I know where I am going to be eating and drinking
