Dixy Chicken in Sunderland

Terrible customer service. Got my order wrong and they didn’t care at all. Management is horrific, rude and don’t care if they mess up .

Ordered from this place in Sunderland fromUber eats , made a mistake everyone can make and didn’t put door number on but they still managed to deliver it to number 26 in my street that I received a receipt for, when I realised my mistake I rang and the girl on the phone didn’t ask forAny details just said it’s on its way now after I emailed Uber. 50 minutes later the rudest of staff then proclaimed it was my own fault as I didn’t put a door number on but neither did number 26 but they still got my food and It’s not like they even tried to call me once never mind the many times the rude girl proclaimed, she then said it would be hear within half an hour yet had to make another phone call to say it was leaving shop now. Absolute disgrace that I ordered food fo my grandson at 5 past 6 and it turned up at 5 past 9 freezing cold , with no apologies and it was myself to blame. Avoid at all costs cos I will be in future, shocking customer service

Ridiculously late after ringing twice no one seems to have a clue where order is food cold chips Rock solid all got wasted only thing decent was the cold can of pop never again rank

Ok, nothing special. Certainly not a patch on a decent KFC but ok nonetheless.

great meals and very underrated place to get food. the chips are really really good and chicken lives up to the standard of other chicken shops out there and does a good job. delivery always top notch. everything correct on my order and have been ordering for months . sometimes the staff forget to take certain things off your order. for example salad on a burger but that only has happened around 3 times within months of ordering (around 8-10 months) if you notice it before you leave they will sort it out for you before you leave. Staff always nice and welcoming. 10/10

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, I will avoid and advise others to avoid in the future.If you fancy chicken without chicken. Please order from this company. 3x Mexican box meals without the main consitute the mexican burger.All 3 of us eat the same way chips, boned chicken then the burger in the bun, so we didnt realise there was no burger till it was too late.. well apart from my son who doesnt really like salad a lot!!What a waste of money, to be fair we have always enjoyed food from here but the customer service stinks... I dont expect all of my money back as we did eat some of the food, but would like recognition that no burgers were in the meal instead of being literally been called a liar by the manager. Yes he said he would send meals out but that would just be a waste by the time it gets to us. Good customer service would have been in my view a 1/3 refund as we ate 2 whole meals.I am very disappointed in the lack of burgers and customer service from them. An appology and a recogition by way of either a refund or credit towards our next meal for lack of food would go a long way to mend our relationship.I always give credit where it is due.. I ALWAYS leave good reviews on my Google reviews and will ONLY give negative reviews if bad service has been received, but hey credit where it is due I will be filling in my review tomorrow.I would welcome if the manager would like to message me to discuss further

I ordered just after 9 and it arrived a mere 20 minutes later. Great start. Never mind that the food itself was splendorous. Really knocked it out of the park. Up the Dixy

Generally ok in the past, but the last couple of times we've ordered peri peri burgers and wings from their website menu, they've sent stuff that tastes more like sweet and sour chicken than anything else. Sweet and sour chicken isn't even on the menu! Disappointing, no longer ordering from here for this reason. Otherwise, food arrives quickly and still hot, no issues with delivery staff.

Abit disappointed today with my order. Ordered a slizzers box meal. It came with a plain chicken burger, two chicken strips, it was ment to have slizzer burger, spicy chicken wings,corn on the corn and garlic was missing. When I rang up to check my order, I explained myself to one person then was passed to another person and had to explain myself again because the first person I spoke to went off to serve a customer, which I believe she should have spoken to me and felt with my issue. They said we could have a replacement food but they wanted other food back and we had to wait when it was there problem they got the order wrong

Awful food, ordered a family bucket and chicken was raw, red, black and bones in that we didn’t ask for we ordered it to the wrong house and got a phone call but it wasn’t a problem and got sent to the right house then we phoned them back when we saw something wrong with the chicken. They said they would sent someone out to see if we were lying and we waited over 1 hour and we rang again and they said they would be 20 minutes also another hour passed so we rang back and the man on the phone said that the person came to the house when he never and also said that the address was wrong and we changed the address as soon as we ordered. I wouldn’t ordered from here the chicken is raw and the people aren’t nice!
