Good atmosphere and location, very clean and friendly but service not great. We waited 45 minutes for our meal, I ordered fish finger and mushy pea baguette as it said on the menu but it came with lettuce instead - no explanation. I asked for a child's breakfast with no beans, it came with beans and no sausage 🤦‍♀️ the food we did have was nice but it would have been nice to let us know some items weren't available etc.. I understand supplies could have been low but it takes 2 minutes to explain..

Lovely atmosphere and staff, 1st time we had Sunday lunch here it was 10/10 pre covid, this Sunday it was nice but not as tasty or hot, kids not impressed with only two roast potatoes. Very dog friendly and lovely ocean view.

Mixed opinions at Grannie Annie's when we went. 3 people stood behind the bar and only one serving. Why not have one serve at the bar upstairs instead of everyone just standing around downstairs?About a 25 minute wait for meals was not too bad. My meal was amazing and would say 5/5 however my partners meal was over cooked and left with an "upset" tummy all night. To the manager. Not blaming the staff as we got the opinion they were new and learning, however when something goes wrong such as a drop a plate of food, we don't expect to hear the chef or whoever it was shouting at her for everyone to hear. Give her a break, we are only human. To that member of staff, thanks for your friendly service throughout our visit.

It's interestingly decorated & we loved spotting the old 80's annual books upstairs.I've been on an evening to watch a band, which was fun. Today we had a lovely casual Saturday lunch & a stroll around the marina. The servers are polite, well trained in their job and attentive. The Chicken au Poivre was on the specials board. It was lovely. My partner said the blue cheese burger was the best he'd had in a good while.

Brilliant place, excellent food and downstairs is dog friendly. Atmosphere was really pleasant and the views of the sea was so peaceful. We'll definitely return.*Family of 3*Pale ale on draught was a big plus. The bar staff let me try the ale's to see which we preferred.

We love it here.Great place, decent food, amazing coffee!Great service, outstanding decor.Dog and child friendly, right on the beach...... who could want more!In fact we recently moved up here from down south, and Grannie Annies was one of the deal breakers! However, we couldn't actually rent near there☹So we visit as often as we can!

Lovely meal, quirky environment, great view. Desserts were lush. We had mince and dumplings which was spot on however the only let down was the mash. Bit of a strange flavour.Would visit again though 😊
