Now called Antico. Excellent food and wines. Great service.

Part of the hotel but a standalone restaurant, nice selection decent value and nice decor. A mix of basics like pizza and pasta and various meat dishes. Seemed perfect for large groups/parties.... I had the steak which was really very good. Only slight criticism is overuse of sweet balsamic as a dressing......

Great pizza. I enjoyed eating at this restaurant. The choice was ample and the quality was good. I had dinner here twice during my stay and on both occasions the food was good.

Great food amazing atmosphere, very warm though

Had to wait over half an hour for drinks to be served at bar. Although pre ordered food one dish came with wrong pasta. Some pasta was overcooked, ariabatta was described as bland and a rather large carrot in a carbonara!! To top it all we were never offered a dessert menu and left a little disappointed. Only plus was that the staff were friendly. Won't be returning in a hurry.

Hasn't booked but they still sorted us a table. The staff, service and food was first class. Well done everyone concerned especially our italian waiter who always provides an excellent customer service.

I've been there three times, and every single time had to wait to be served, than was waiting for starters, and than waiting for mains and than for the bill. Food is okay, but the waiting time is just too long. We arrived at 19 40 and by the time we were served with starters was 20 25. Also the table was a bit dirty and had some crumbs lying on it. I don't think I will be back.

It's been about 6 years since I visited these parts and ate here. Despite having a lick of pain and looking even more Italian than the last time I was here, there visit this time just didn't live up to my anticipation. Firstly, I was on my own and it was a Wednesday night in May. There were only 4 other tables occupied and I w as seated at about 8:30. It's a great menu and I shot straight for the musscles, which were deliciously cooked in a cream and garlic sauce. I ordered a capriciosa pizza (I think that's how it's spelt) for main which is ham, mushroom, artichoke, and an egg in the middle. The egg is supposed to be cooked btw, it wasn't. So when I got the pizza back, the egg was cooked but the pizza was now black which ruined the taste. Now, I accept mistakes happen. The staff were all so polite too. My issue was, (a) the staff were perfectly friendly and polite but the service was very slow, so what would happen on a night tbis restaurant was busy. And (b) a chef made a mistake, we all do. But rectifying it with another mistake doesn't solve the issue. I like it here and I will come back, hoping tonight was just a one off.

The food was gorgeous. We had a table for four. We all chose different things and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were friendly and welcoming and even though we hadn't booked ( Friday night) they were able to accommodate. Totally recommend this place to anyone and we are definitely going back.

Booked a table for 4 here and sat down and ordered food and drinks. The drinks took that long to come i had to ask if they had forgotten about them it took that long. The starters came out same time as the drinks and then had to wait another hour and a half for out main meals. No one came over and asked if we wanted another drink when the food came one of the dishes were wrong and the 2 mixed grills that were ordered had items missing off the dish and had to ask for them to be brought out as they had forgot to put them on the plate. This would be understandable if the restaurant was busy but there was loads of spare tables and they weren't rushed off their feet.Disappointed over all for the money we paid we were all massively disappointed and it spoils your night. No be going back any time soon.
