Gorgeous place. I visited with for afternoon tea (Mother's Day AND her birthday) with my Mam in March. The staff are brilliant - incredibly helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is fabulous. The warmed cheese scone with tomato chutney was particularly good. The sandwiches were made in a variety of breads (not you're sliced white offering) and the cakes were absolutely delicious. Excellent value.

I do like this place but sadly twice now the cakes we've had have been like a brick. So stale, very disappointing.

Atmosphere very pleasant as was the staff. Afternoon tea disappointing. 2 very small triangle sandwiches each and 1/4 tuna wrap each. Cheese and fruit scone lovely. Choice of 4 small taster cakes with a lemon mouse in a glass. A couple more sandwiches would be lovely or more savoury.

My friend and I visit most weeks for tea/coffee and food. Always lovely and staff very friendly and helpful. I had afternoon tea there with my daughter this week and it did not disappoint! Rosalie was as lovely as ever and couldn’t have done anymore to make our afternoon.

Came for festive afternoon tea and was absolutely beautiful, service was great, did take a while for trays to be served to us but it’s afternoon tea so there is meant to be no hurry…all food that was served was very tasty and well presented, would definitely recommend and would definitely book again.

Went for afternoon tea and was served by Benji the waiter and Andrea the manager. The quality and service was excellent and we were especially looked after by Benji for whom nothing was too much trouble. He made us feel very welcome and made our visit really enjoyable. He is a credit to your team. The fastest pint I've seen delivered with a big smile to a desperate man hobbling on crutches after 3 weeks stuck inside. Well done that man!!! We will be back!!

Had afternoon tea, I really wanted to give it five stars, beautiful views from the tea rooms, lovely place, nice decor, the staff is very pleasant, professional and efficient, nothing is too much trouble however, the food was not as good as it looked and was not worth the price. The sandwiches lacked flavour, they were just plain, the scones crumbled in thousand pieces and the sweets were soggy and just tasted of sugar, no flavours. It is a disappointment as everything else was spot on. I would not consider having afternoon tea here again.
