mamma italia in Sunderland

I went for a meal with my kids early this week and I would to put in the attention of the public that there are new staff in the pub and they have forgotten to remind me that the meal's I chose from the main menu ,where also at the special of day! I paid full price and when it came to my attention I went to enquiry about.I got an apology but no money back.Still love the place specially now that has been redecorated.Just pay more attention before you order.

We hadn't been to Mama Italia since the lockdowns but we were delighted to find it hasn't changed. Great atmosphere, delicious food, excellent service and very reasonably priced. Best Italian restaurant in Sunderland.

Every time I go I promise myself to have something different on the menu but I just can't help myself, give me chicken kev every time.

Food was excellent as usual and 2 tables within talking distance afterwards in bar as there was 9 of us.

Food was delicious!We came here with friends from the gym, around 18 of us. We thought we would expect delays due to the amount of us that attended, however there was no delays, fast service, really friendly bar staff, no queues. Great value for money. I would have certainly paid more for the service and the food.A really great atmosphere, pleasant staff. I will certainly be returning

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing and you get a very nice selection and the service was excellent. Really enjoyed the meal.
