Fantastic fish and chips.Fabulous ice cream.Would recommend to everyone.

Ordered cod looking for the fish nearly all batter the price there charging over priced definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Hands down the best fish and chips I've ever had. No greasy taste, a lush crisp to the (very fresh) food & not a bad price for being right on the sea front.I will absolutely be visiting again!

15 fish and chip shops in Seaburn and we unfortunately choose this one. Paying £14.50 for cod and chips only to find there was so much batter and hardy any fish. At their prices we expected better not batter

Just been stung for around 30 chips and a jumbo sausage, absolutely disgusted with the portion size, the sausage looked like it had been in the Fryer for days. You have lost a loyal customer for over 20 years.

This is by far the very best fish and chip bar in seaburn/south shields.Quality, service, spot on.If you want good old traditional fish and chips with salt, vinegar and batter,Minchella`s is a must for you.You will not be disappointed.Enjoy.

Always unreal tasty food and ice cream from here. I usually go for the cod Bites and chips or the vegan sausage and chips either with gravy. Ice creams are lovely too. Staff friendly and efficient. Perfect being right by the beach so can sit on the seats opposite with a view 😍

Superb quality cod and chips!! Fresh, tasty, and amazing value for money especially given how enormous the portions are! They also serve ice cream and in Summer there’s little tables so you can sit outside.No dedicated parking but there’s plenty just a stones throw away on the prom. My favourite eatery when I’m staying in Roker 😊Highly recommended.
