Outstanding food, brilliant service and a great all round trip. We went on a Tuesday evening with some friends for a nice meal out. The restaurant was very laid back, immaculately clean, and well organised. The staff were very friendly, gave us plenty of time to order as we had a real dilemma trying to narrow down our options but the food came out very promptly which was amazing.The food itself is some of the best Indian cuisine I've ever had! Spicy yet balanced and so flavourful. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we will be returning many more times in the future!

Excellent first visit. We've tried a few Indian restaurants around the area.We were happily pleased with the food and service here.Very professional courteous and friendly staff on point with service.Food was excellent with reasonable prices and a fantastic range of starters and main courses.Everything we ordered was outstanding and thoroughly enjoyedFrom the poppadoms to the curries we had everything was fresh, tasty and an ideal temperature.Special offers available at times which is good to see.Good drinks menu, we did not see the desserts but I'm sure they would be equally excellent.

Very disappointing!We ordered poppadoms & pickles for starters, but they came with our main.The "pickles" consisted of watered down mango chutney & raita and a bowl of plain chopped raw onion.We were served the wrong main (fish instead of chicken). It was replaced.The other main was supposed to contain egg & mince but didn't - we were told it was hidden in the sauce! 😆 It wasn't replaced.We asked to speak to the manager to express our disappointment - he didn't speak and walked off in the middle of our conversation!I have never experienced such rudeness!Will not be returning and do NOT recommend.

My favourite Indian in Sunderland!! The Thali option is amazing, only available at quieter times, but having a tapas style of dishes is great!! But you have to ask for it!!! 😉

A great Indian restaurant with polite and friendly staff. The food is delicious and highly recommended. The prices are very reasonable too. I am definitely going to return again soon for another tasty meal 😁👍🏻❤️🍽️

Wow! What a little gem next to the empire theatre upstairs to another Indian restaurant. Food 5* for 3* price. Service was first class with recommendations and acknowledgements

Highly recommended, tasty Indian food. Wide range of traditional dishes. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Family run. This place was recommended to me by a local and she was not wrong. I will return.
