Murtha's Fish Shop in Sunderland

Watched as my Haddock and chips were prepared and fried, to perfection. This was a rare treat and I was in no way disappointed. With my dark malt vinegar enhancing the meal, I ate my fill. Too much, of course, but this was special!!!

It was all cooked fresh and thoroughly enjoyable. Next time I'm in Sunderland it will be worth another visit.

Excellent..wait a little cooking ...well worth the wait .could do a few more chips on but apart from that excellent...fish good thick flakes.... And I know my way around fish and chip shops

Great food, reasonable prices, and the staff was nice. There's a bit of a wait on the fish and chips, but it's well worth it. If your not familiar with Northern accents be ready to ask them to repeat themselves. Overall some great to-go food.
