Nice atmosphere . The food was amazing I usually get extra hot quarter chicken with two sides of rice and a drink.

Great food, tastey and well cooked and the staff gave great service and manners.

All Ower food came in one go stater dinner desert and drinks no room on table so dinner got cold

Never been to Nandos before,and to be fair it surprised me i had a wrap with chips and it was very nice,ive took a star off because of having to order on the app which is a downside of the visit no contact with staff till your meal is on the table

Ordered a chicken burger for my partner and clearly stated I wanted it WITHOUT sauce or mayo. When it came the chicken was smothered in some type of brown sauce, so had to send it back. I had ordered butterfly chicken, which I usually have in Nandos and always enjoy. However, when I began to eat it, it was barely warm and the chicken skin was wobbly and uncooked and could not be separated from the meat. It was disgusting and so that also had to be sent back, the manager acknowledging it had not been grilled properly. No compensation offered whatsoever, so not a great experience at Nandos in Sunderland. A member of staff was walking around the restaurant giving out her name, Thea, and asking customers to complete an online survey, though strangely enough she didn't visit our table!

I like that groups could have a table to themselves and it was spacious. The food was served courteously. We had to order online which removed the queuing at the restaurant.The food was yummy although we couldn't eat much.Their drinks (soft) bottomless which means you can refill your cups as many times as possible.The entrance was accessible.There is a car park nearby so it shouldn't be a problem to parkAnd the staff that attended to us was so kind and courteousI would recommend and definitely go again

After such a long time, I visited again and found that the menu had shrank. Not as many choices as before, still the publish overall favourite things are on the menu sadly some dishes and starters have disappeared. At the moment there is table service otherwise it is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Toilets are upstairs but otherwise accessible for wheelchair and pushairs.

Hugely popular with younger people, resisted the temptation to go for years, as it looks like its just chicken with spicy glazeEventually bit the bullet and went while on a trip to the cinema, and turns out, it is just chicken with spicy glaze. That's not to say it wasnt enjoyable, but is a bit overpriced for just chicken. There's a reward system and probably discount codes to be found online, but didn't have either on this visit. Interesting design on the table we were given, too.
