We had a large group and the service we received was very good. Food was of a good quality and service was quick and efficient. Much better than a previous visit.

Lovely staff. My friend and i enjoyed the food and definitely stayed too long. We only get to see each other every 6 to 8 wks but no one said we had to leave. Great place to go

Visited oak tree farm for the first time yesterday for a carvery and was extremely pleased not only with the food but also with the staff! Was served by a girl named Eve and she was extremely helpful, checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely return!

Had the carvery here and it was nice, not lovely as the dishes were pretty low on veg so really just getting the last of the evening's food as we ate late. Pub wasn't too busy friendly staff and reasonably priced. Overall a pleasant visit.

Its a lovely pub with a delicious carvery. Very child friendly too always a bonus. The staff were very attentive the only down fall to mention was the long queue for the carvery which for me was expected at a peek time on a Sunday. The food at the carvery was plentiful with a great selection and well worth the wait.

Last experience was a bit under par. Took ages for meals and didn't seem to be geared up for larger groups, then again for desserts for three that ordered. Lots on the menu was unavailable. After waiting ages for my meal was then informed as others meals were arriving that the half chicken was coming out too dry and asked if I wanted an alternative. Had then to wait for another meal. When it did arrive, farmhouse double BBQ max stack burger was still very nice though.

Very disappointing, we booked 9 people for a 50th Birthday and we came here because it is literally a carvery and they didn’t even have it.It was taken off because there was “no meat”. Despite their being a huge joint of meat and loads of veg left. Not to mention the awful loud Disney and High School Musical Medley screeching through the speakers at 8pm… really weird choice that just annoyed us all. Obviously we’re near the kids area, but it’s 8pm, no kids here and WAY too loud.We came at 19:15 and ordered around 19:45, food is served until 9. No reason for not having enough food. When there’s a large group booking they should ask whether anyone would want a carvery and ensure that there is enough. Won’t likely be coming back here. The blonde lady who was serving drinks, Debbie I think (tonight was her first night) was so lovely and smiley and was very apologetic, the only redeeming quality.Overall an obnoxious and disappointing experience.

Visited this evening for the carvery with my friend. We paid as normal at the bar for the food and a drink. The drink in question was a pint of tap water and a dash of blackcurrant which we were both charged £2.05 for. There was a sign stating that they had no draught soft drinks but no sign saying that they would rob you blind for having to drink tap water through no fault of your own. I queried this price and was advised that tap water is free and that it is normal to charge £2.05 for a dash of cheap cordial. No explanation could be given and I am still awaiting an apology following my complaint. This is not how to treat customers. I have no issues with the food or the chef but I will certainly think about returning due to the lack of understanding of my comments or opinions.

The food in this pub is excellent with good variety and portions, and the sweets are to die for. Great selection of ales/beers and wines. Definitely well worth a visit.

Just visiting Sunderland for a few days. We were in the area and decided to drop in on the off chance of getting a table and there was plenty of space, even on a Friday. The carvery was fantastic, we opted for the Standard size which was ample. Great outdoor adventure park to entertain the children. We liked it that much we went back the following night. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Recommended :)
