Food was very poor... Black bean tasted like gravy.. Think their need to change oil battered chicken was greasy and batter not cooked inside even the dog wouldn't eat the chicken!!! Salt and pepper chips were poor.. Won't order again!

Very disappointed the salt and pepper chicken was soggy and chicken tasted rubbery won’t order again.

Up there with the best in my opinion, in fact apart from the lucky star in South Hylton in the late 90's - early 00's I haven't had a better Chinese in Sunderland.

Lovely food and staff, explains where the nearest cash point was and cooked my food while I was getting cash so I didn't have to wait too long for it. I ordered egg fried rice, curry sauce and mini vegetarian spring rolls. My only complaint is that the curry sauce was a little too thick. You also only get six spring rolls but they're more like a medium spring roll anyway, so so long as you don't eat them in the car without looking at them you won't be momenterally disappointed like I was. 100% would go again.

Friendly staff but food wasn't good I'm afraid. Mushrooms in gravy was far too thick and oily, the rice was cold and the spare ribs were dry. Never again! The Welcome Inn up the rode is 100% better but was closed on that day and we really fancied chinese.... we wished we never bothered.

Had a house special chow mein last week and it was delicious, bit chunks of duck and other meats and prawns. Ordered the same this week it was terrible !!! Dry as sticks, no duck no sauce, my son asked me if I'd phoned the wrong Chinese !!! Could not believe the difference and a waste of money as half of it went in the bin 😢

I always try not to be negative but this is by far the worst chinese takeaway I have had. The chips tasted like they had been cooked in old oil that has never been replaced, the gravy was lumpy and tasteless and the chow mein was below average. Will not be ordering again.

Just moved to area and trying to find a Chinese. Ordered from here last week. Tbh not that good curry tasted of curry powder. Egg fried rice ordered with it tasted very salty. Chips were hard and hard to chew and swallow. Took 40 mins for a delivery on Saturday witch if expect for a Saturday. But really wouldn't advise anyone to use this place not the best Chinese ever.
