What a change. New chef and new ideas, I've just had there special dish with prawns and chicken. It was superb, packed full of different flavours and NOW feel like I've found a little gem of a place to eat. Such an improvement.

Lovely food, great service, delicious garlic bread with cheese and tomato! 😋good for a quick bite to eat.

Great pizza, the best around, pasta dishes good too. Informal dining in the Victoria Gardens pub, lovely friendly staff, this place is well worth a visit for the quality of the food. Very much recommended.

I don't normally fancy pizza since most places here don't seem to know how to make a thin crispy base even when you order it. Here the pizza base was just right and toppings were good as well. Lovely chips and happy hour the whole lot cost slightly over £30. Thats 2 pizzas, chips and a bottle of wine. Went here on a groupon deal and was blown away! Service is second to none, food was the nicest I have ever tasted. Wonderful night, I have told all my friends about this place, well worth a visit Excellent! We'll be back.

Lovely location in Ashbrooke cricket and rugby club. Went on the hot Sat, very busy with outside orders so not attentive to drinks (coffee and soft dtinks), maybe wine or beer may have been served more promptly. There for the food which is fantastic. Always fresh and the special board was varied. Has a happy hour offer. Diego and team are always friendly.

I love Diego’s restaurant - my family and I visit regularly and enjoy their great service and delicious food. The specials board often has fresh seafood which is sourced locally the same day. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and it offers great value! Thanks Diego, keep up the great work!

Great setting looking out on cricket field. We phoned this restaurant several times to make a booking but got no answer. We decided to call in has it is quite near where we live . We got a table with no problems. But then it took quite a time before we got the menu we put our order in and waited and waited finally the wine came and the starter's came shortly after. A family of four got up and left because they waited that long for there meal. Finally our meals arrived only to find my partners order was wrong she ordered sea food pasta but the waiter had put the wrong order in and she got chicken being a none meat eater this did not go down well. They apologised and said we will change it by this time I had eaten my meal and hers had not arrived on this we asked for bill on what we had been given, on this they tried give us some free drinks witch we refused and told them we were leaving on the way out we went to pay, this is when the chef appeared with a carry out with my partner's meal and apologised for the inconvenience we declined his offer telling him of the disappointment of the service. He told us he was sorry and said we could leave and need not pay for what we had. It seems the restaurant was more interested in doing pizzas for takeaways and leaving customers in the restaurant waiting. The meal I had was very nice but I couldn't enjoy it when my partner was sitting with me with nothing. This place needs to get it's priorities right.

Having enjoyed a previous visit we ventured back again..........BIG MISTAKE!The whole experience was.........TERRIBLE and NOT ACCEPTABLE.I had to ring 6 times to actually make a booking, recorded message and no return call being the way they treat customers. The booking eventually made the family party turned up 10 minutes early for our booked table, shown the table and a 20 minute wait for the drinks order to be taken.Drinks turn up and 40 minute wait to order our meal.............for GHC sake! The starter was served and 2 out of 3 correct, a further 10 minutes to rectify the incorrect starter order,The starters were terrible ! absolutely garbage............No taste and obviously rushed out of the kitchen. We never had the main course; At 22.00 we left having waited almost 2 hours for a main course...................we paid for the drinks and the absolutely useless waiters took the money. We like Diego, but the terrible service is killing your business, We will never return. On a side note the Ashbrooke Club is a dive, completely filthy and run down, the toilets need the council to shut them down...........FILTHY.
