Always good selection of food on the menu, the staff are attentive and friendly. Plenty of seating inside and outside on warm days. Well recommended.

Lovely place for a meal. All meals were freshly cooked an had great flavour. Couldn't fault it. Went for lunch on Saturday not too busy but staff were attentive an helpful.Just really nice.

A firm favourite italian of ours. We recently visited here for my daughter's birthday. The staff were brilliant, especially with my 5 year old son who got to make his own pizza and who was then over the moon with the selection of ice cream toppings from the treasure chest! The staff also popped a candle on my daughter's dessert and sang her a Happy Birthday. The food was delicious and the service was fast. Would highly recommend to others and will certainly return in the future.

First time we had eaten here for ages, so we are glad we went back for dinner. There was alot to choose from on the menu for food and drinks. The food was really nice, and the service was very friendly from the staff. It had been that popular, that certain things on the menu had sold out, but, there was plenty to choose from. We hope to cone back again some time soon

Party of 8, booked two weeks in advance (received three confirmation texts from the restaurant to say it was still booked), upon arrival claimed they weren't expecting us - already off to a bad start. The restaurant wasn't even half full.Drinks order taken and arrived swiftly, however it was then a 15 minutes wait until the server returned for food orders.The starters (mostly potato skins) took over an hour to arrive. The child's garlic bread arrived after everyone else had finished their meal, adding to more frustration.Mains were the disappointment of the evening; watered down sauce, cold pizza, a seafood pizza with 3 prawns on! Of the 8 meals, 6 were tasteless rubbish so it wasn't a personal issue of one opinion.For being a restaurant that used to be at the heart of the Fatfield Riverside it has gone severely downhill and prices hiking up!Go to the Havelock or the Biddick Inn next door for a meal worth eating.Only thing pulling back the one star review is the waiting staff did a good job when the kitchen staff finally pulled their act together.After visiting countless times over the last 20 years, it's safe to say I'll never return. What a disappointment.

We've just come back from our son's birthday meal really disappointed. Starters were all good but the garlic breads were a little under cooked. Main meals were varied in quality. Lasagne chosen by my mum was nice. My husband's tuscan pasta was poor with very little spicy sausage in it and he felt the portion was a little small when compared to my son's child's portion. My son's napoli pasta was so bland he only ate about 5 pieces and then refused to eat any more. My eldest son and birthday boy enjoyed his bolonaise pizza. I chose the fuime pasta for a change as when we go to an Italian I always choose lasagne. What a mistake! It was so greasy, the chicken was so tough, the pancetta overcooked and I think they'd totally forgotten the chilli. Hence very little of it was eaten. My daughter had chicken bites and chips and she ate all of them. She also chose the ice cream with a choice of toppings which were a big hit as was the chocolate brownie my son had. The chocolate and salted caramel tart with raspberry sorbet was nice as was the sticky toffee pudding. When we asked for a decaf coffee, they politely informed us they were changing supplier as they thought the one they had had a bad taste. A normal latte was ordered but they charged us 10p for decaf on the bill. Getting to the bill, make sure you check yours. Ours had an extra pint and a half of moretti on and they charged all the kids food courses individally instead of the £6.95 including drink. They did rectify the bill without question. The waitress was pleasant and friendly but possibly due to lack of experience she didn't query why we'd left so much food. All in all a very disappointing time for our son's thirteenth birthday. Won't be back any time soon.

Brilliant all around. The menu is unlike a lot of Italian restaurants I've been too, and has some options you don't normally see. I was really spoiled for choice, and the half and half option gave the best of both worlds with Pizza & Pasta.Couldn't fault the service at all. Our waitress was lovely with my nephew and really made a big fuss out of him. It was particularly nice how the kids 'make your own' pizza is exactly that, and they bring out the uncooked base and cheese so children can add their own toppings. Our little one was really well looked after.I'd go back again, as there's so many things I wanted off the menu.

Hadn't been to Fiume in yeeeeears. Popped in early on a Friday evening and luckily they had a table for us. Staff were excellent and tables had so much space with dividers set up for Covid safety. Lucked out and tried the steak night, excellent food, decent wine and a huge plate of dessert (was pretty solid - think fridges are too powerful or it was still defrosting - but took some home and had it the following day and it was lush) we will be back.

Lovely birthday celebration complete with a cake supplied by my daughter which they brought to the table. The food was delicious as usual. Thank you.

Never fail to have a nice meal here. The staff are always super polite and attentive. The prices are very reasonable and good size portions. Good selection of drinks. Clean toilets too!
